About a month ago, a boy at one of the schools near to mine, St. Mary's, tried to hang himself with his own tie, it failed to kill him, and he's okay now, but I bet if you showed him that story, he'd think twice about doing it again.

Well that's just depressing. Poor kid. I don't think he coulda nor woulda done it though. I feel as though there is foul play afoot.

I've heard of young kids far younger than 10 trying to commit suicide, so in all honesty I'm not surprised that one of them got a lot older and actually did it.

It doesn't sound as if a ten year old could kill themselves, let alone actually understand the concept of death and in turn commit suicide. From that article it seems it could have been an accident or foul play, no way will I ever believe someone so young killed themselves.

I find this all so depressing...but I really wish people would stop spreading these stories around...the mom who died trying to win a Wii for her kids, the girls run over by a train while tanning, this is all really depressing crap I wish people would just keep to themselves.
