It has been empirically proven that words with at least two vowels and less than five letters are the most memorable words in Romantic languages. This, coupled with the double-o construction and context as the sole aerial battle fought during the Vietnam War (a resounding American Victory in which no American lives were lost, and the ENTIRE Viet Cong airforce was destroyed in half an hour), paint rather an undercurrent of glory atop the surface of the word.

I'm quite fond of my name. It still upsets me at times when it is unavailable on other sites.

I like my name. No one else uses it on any other sites, so when I sign up I don't have to put a million numbers at the end of it. Also, it sounds cool.

If I could, I would take the "J" out of mine. I tried just doing "VladimirFaust" but it was taken! Who knew there was someone on NG with my name already.

My username was changed this Monday and I have to say that I really liked it. I wanted to change my username to avoid some problems and confusions but my new nick is really good.

I'm very happy with it and it looks awesome.

I love my username. No one ever knows what it means though.

The only downside is that I'm one of like 20 people known affectionately as "Beta".

Yup, except that Rigel (Beta) is brighter than Betelguese (Alpha) most of the time because it's a binary star. Even my binary is a binary.

Yes, I am. during the lockdown, Tom made the original Phantom, into phantom2 since he was in no way active and I got my user name. It's pretty hard now to have a NG user name that makes any type of sense.
