Problem

recently my freind has started playing world of warcraft. Im wondering whenever i come over he stays on the computer and does nothing else. whenever we get offered to go somewhere cool he stays on the computer playing it. What is so addicting about that game???

It's the leveling up aspect that has players hooked. There is always something newer and better that players can acquire. Players strive for the attention they will get when they achieve max level. That's what makes it so addicting.

Ask him why he plays it, and he will tell you because it's fun, and he get's to meet new people. What he won't tell you, is that he wants to be more powerful so little noobs will fear/look up to him.
