JarrodK, I fully respect what you have said and I agree with you 100%, but this is the Newgrounds forum. Understand that people who post have no second opinion; they are likely the most stubborn people you'll ever meet in your lives. When they have an opinion, they're NOT afraid to say it. It will always come up negatively here no matter the reason.

Newgrounds' members shun everything that has to do with Runescape.

I personally enjoy the game and I have for several years. A lot of the stereotypes are true, but I honestly don't mind them. I'm all for just playing the game and interacting with those I feel I'd get along with well.

I'm not here to defend anything, but on Newgrounds, 9-10 users hate Runescape (my opinion). There will always be arguments, just sit back, read and laugh.

The point you try to establish here is appealing to all us rational folks, but to the irrational 9 to 15-year-olds, this thread just serves as a flamewar for RS haters.

Besides, whether you like it or not, keep it to yourself. I've played Runescape before, I didn't like it, but I kept it to myself. Mind you, I was an avid WoW fan at the time, but I lost interest in online games altogether a few months ago. They just don't appeal to me any more.

But for a game written entirely in Java, it is quite good.

A redundant point too. People don't have to like RuneScape or half appreciate it because it was hard to make in JavaScript or something. That's just fucking stupid.

Try telling this to my friend who spent 2 years working on his runescape char. But yes, i do see your point, but i do disagree with you. I do think it is quite fun.

It's got to have something to it if it's managed to cause this level of RAGE!! in so many people. Not quite sure why a game that doesn't even advertise itself that much has managed to cause the butthurt so much though, it's like everyone wants to pick on the quiet chap in the corner of the class whos just getting along fine but doesn't have a cool enough shirt.

Yes, but, unlike Sonic, Runescape is quite fun, if you see ahead of the ten-year old non-members that inhabit the port-of-entry town. If you're a member, as I am, the game is a lot of fun.

I totally agree. RuneScape must go off NG. I know I was basically addicted to the game few years ago, but now I log in to the game once a month, is logged in for 12 seconds and log back out. RuneScape is boooooooring.

That's your opinion and probably a lot of other people's too, But if I could ask you something? Why would you call a game bad and then make a thread were there is a possibility that people may defend it?

rune scape will suck, it will always suck, and it always has sucked, why? because little kiddies play. had a kid in my class in 4rth grade who bragged bout his dragon sword and crystal bow, got him to shut up when i said: really, what do you have to show for that time? good grades? money? of course his response was rather violent, was funny to see him suspended while i got a stern warning instead XD
