Well...I am 16 years of age and roughly three weeks ago, i did indeed drop out of school. I was making fairly bad grades...D's and F's and what not...now, not because im dumb or anything but because I have NEVER done ANY homework...ever...so anyways, I leave and decide to go get my GED...I took the test, got it in a day, got hired at Dominos, and started training to be an electricion in a union and will make roughly $27/h...epic win?

Epic indeed. I dropped out of highschool, took the GED test, got a 97%, went to college, and now i'm a Massage Therapist.

No, you'll end up in a tizzy and wish you stayed in school. It was a dumbass move, I hope for your sake it's not too late for you to go back.

Ever played the game of life (the board game)? Think about the first part of that where it gives you the college option, then think back to today's economy.

Case in point, epic win...and besides, who wants to spend two more years (I was a sophmore) in school, when you could do shit NOW?

Well, if you don't finish high school a lot of doors close in terms of careers. Ask yourself do you honestly want to be an Electrician, I mean you can't even spell the name of the occupation! In my opinion truly epic fail.

Ok I live in Missouri, and near me is the National Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, or the NBEW. They do an apprenticship program where you are trained to be an electrician, and get paid. This starts at $16 an hour, and increases to $25 after the aprenticship, which usually last a year. Then, every 2 years, I can actually make $2 an hour raises. So yeah, $27 would be in three years, but after ten years, im making $32 an hour. And, because its a union, I get a BA insurance plan, and retirement out the a-hole...

And what about benefits? Or what hours your working?

Yah, totally an epic win.

If you're okay living on a measly 27 bucks an hour for what seems to be a 9-5 job, then I guess you win

If you're comfotable with that choice, then yes, it is an epic win for you. However, it's critical for you to at least recieve a high school diploma, as not many places today are accpeting applications if the applicant hasn't even finished 12 years of schooling.

Not if you only work 3 hours a week, which you probably will as all the better and longer jobs will be given to people that are smarter and more experienced.

Bad idea, just, no. You'll miss school, some day. Sure it's a few years earlier, but that just means a few more years of being an electricion. School is far more fun, you jack ass.

Dropping out of school =/= Epic WIn.

If you think you're doing good after dropping out of school, imagine how well you could be doing if you had stayed in.

For all you know you could've been the CEO of a huge corporation rolling in dough with a beautiful wife and family, a dream house, living the life.

But instead you're working at Dominos.
