Hey guys, the weirdest thing is happening. In Brentwood Tennesee, THE MOON IS SIDEWAYS! You know how the cresent of it, is like 1/10 of the moon vertically, its like 5/10 that way HORISONTLY! Please someone that knows, explain this to me. Im freaking out.

I see it too, and i'll explain.
The moon does not revolve perfectly around the earth. Due to gravitational pulls, it varies during the year. What you are looking at is the suns rays reflecting off of the bottom of the moon.
Picture this; the earth is above the sun, and the moon is above the earth. Though it may appear that the moon is sideways, it's just directional lighting.

Its just a difference in the light reaching the moon. Nothing to get all freaked out over, quite normal to see, it just depends on the sun.

Heh... I've been an avid astronomer since I was 13 years old. If the Moon was "sideways" that would mean the Earth is severely off it's orbit! Here's an optical trick. When the Harvest Moon appears (you know, when the moon looks likes it's freakin' huge) turn your back on it, and bend forward and view it from between your legs. This should clear up the inversion theory.
