Oh, it happened. I was awake when it opened, turned out you can't have names shorter than 5 characters, and I couldn't be arsed with www.facebook.com/bananabreadmuffin because it's so god-damned long, so I just went with my full name. It's easy enough.

Unfortunately when I picked my name MichaelHurst and Michael.Hurst were taken so I had to go with MichaelHurst1.

Thats not surprising. I haven't made a new flash for a while and the ones I did make were pretty unrecognized. Plus I usually hang out in the flash forum and not many people go there.

Yeah, numbers do suck ass, I was pretty disappointed but there really wasn't any other way to have MichaelHurst. Unfortunately I couldn't do what BBM did because...Well...Michael Hurst is my real name haha.

The whole URL thing is a little bit myspace-esque. But it's at least a lot easier to link to your own profile now.

lol, I just deactivated my Facebook account... using the damn thing waaaaay too much :/

The worst thing though is that "deactivating" it really doesn't do much, as it tells you that to reactivate it, all you need to do is log back in. So really I'm just logged out.

Yeah, it's kinda stupid really. I had two accounts, so i de-activated one, but it says people can still see your profile and even search for you. So what's the point in deactivating it?

I'm not really sure... like I said, I thnk I'm essentially just logged out.

Although, that being said, some of my friends have tried to contact me on Facebook since I deactivated my account and have texted me saying that my profile doesn't come up... so, perhaps it's down to your privacy settings? That or they're simply LIARS. ;P

I don't think you can, yanno. Seems pretty stupid to be honest, and if I'd known that I could never delete my account before I'd signed up for FB, then I might have thought twice about it in the first place.

I may just reactivate my account soon, anyway, because now instead of Facebook alerts, I'm getting text messages asking me when I'm going to be back on Facebook, lol. :/

My phone doesn't have internet and I'm still hooked up to facebook mobile. Facebook just sends you text messages about things.

Meh, i don't need the hassle. I usually check FB every second day if not daily, so i honestly don't need messages.

I know alot of people that do use it though.

I'm addicted to Facebook and use it everyday. it's become part of my life I suppose. I used to nose through everyone's photos and status messages. Now instead, I normally just play poker and tetris on it. It's still awesome. :D

All the time, I check my Facebook via phone more than my actual computer. It takes a long time to scroll to pages but it's pretty nifty.

So yeah, maybe I should have told you guys by now that I have a Facebook.

I wasn't bothered to ass around with it when I still thought my main source for a website to interact with people outside of Newgrounds was Myspace. Now that I think Myspace is basically a waste, I'm frequenting Facebook a little more often now.
