Its junk food for the mind though, you're no smarter than when you started and it doesn't make you think about anything. Its like eating junkfood, its just poisoning the system.

I don't think I really have a favorite book. I've read hundreds but none really stand out in a way that i'd care much for them. I liked the Eragon series, and the movie was so shitty I actually got pretty pissed...

Fight Club
A Clockwork Orange
Watership Down
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
Survivor
Choke
Haunted
Invisible Monsters
Diary
Rant
Vegan Freak
Breakfast Of Champions
Slaughterhouse Five
Lullaby

Obviously Palahniuk is my favourite author. I don't know why. I read Fight Club first and fell in love. I liked each book I read of his more than the last. I think Fight Club, Survivor, and Choke are my favourites from him, but I love them all. But I like Diary and Lullaby the least, haha. I guess I just really like his style.

Ender's Game. Orson Scott Card. This is the book that is the king of all sci-fi. Nearly every sci-fi book or movie now has it's roots to Ender's Game.

MMmmm I'm too lazy to write the plot and shit, but I like the Pendragon series. Pretty much more then any other one. I really don't think it's recognized enough and that Harry Potter is over-rated

My favorite book is probably any of the Sherlock Holmes books. The writing is just superb, and the plots are some of the best mysteries I have ever read. They are just amazing books in general

It's a tie between the Pelican Brief and A Time to Kill. I like anything Grisham does.

So I want to ask you about you're favorite book and how you came to like that book, what about that book attracted you to it? describe the storyline and plot and characters.

Harry Potter books? J.K. Rowling made a new one (Which is my favorite). It's called "Tales of Beedle the Bard". Almost everything in that book usually contained extras about Happy Potter and the Deathly Hollows and all of it contained witchcraft and everything wizards need.

This. But if you tied me down and forced me to, I'd say either Watchmen (graphic novels count, if Time Magazine is to be believed) or 1984. Both incredible works that I get something new from on each read and reread.

I have the book, but am yet to read it. I've got other books I'm still trying to get through...

I'd have to say that "The Tomorrow series" by John Marsden is a fucking good read. I'm also a fan of David Zindell. The sci-fi epic "Neverness" is one of the best books I've ever read. But there's a lot more I feel I should read, such as Steven King, Terry Pratchett, Orson Scott Card, I'm just falling into and out of the habit of reading all the time, so it takes ages for me to finish any book, let alone the fifty thousand others I want to read after it.

Thats the exact same for me, but I always felt that there was much more JK Rowling could've done with that series. And she doesn't have to stick with just Harry Potter, she could always expand and make more books.

Thats what I look forward to, more Rowling books.
