Dude, you are tearing it up in this new style. The Sun River thing is like, blows my mind. I'd love to see an overlay of some siple white wear and tear. Like they're scanned from a folded poster, or a comic or book with worn edges. With the color choices you made. I'm so impressed man, I'm eating it up.

Still trying to figure this thing out...

I think part of the problem is lack of contrast in value, color or saturation. You don't need them all, but using at least one will help the image pop.
That said, I think the earlier image is the more successful of the two. Much more dynamic composition.

Yeah you are right. The first was more dynamic but I don't think it was working at all. I think I am closing in on something I like here. Add the red lines to show my way of thinking compositionvise...

Another great design!
Though I'm kind of curious what this poster would be for?

Thanks! It is for a danish band called Powersolo. Check them out. They are pretty great.
Update on the picture. I have started cleaning up the drawing :)

My question is why that giant lady is pooping on that building

It is a well known danish art museum, called Aros. In fact a pretty good one. But they had this (in my opinion) stupid idea of putting that eye sore of and art installation by the hack Olafur Eliasson on top of the building (the rainbow) .. Anyways, Powersolo is from the same town as that art museum and they have always been kind of anti good taste so I thought it was appropriate.

I am working on a school project. The following pictures are just sketches/experiments for the final posters. It's basically about the dangers of forced positivity in society.
nilfisk
I am using the shredded paper because I think it is a neat symbol of systematic removal of classified information, and because forced optimism the worst case can be used to silence sceptic employees.
nilfisk
Sometimes the employee surveys are the workers only way vent their criticism - however employers knowingly frame the surveys to make employees direct their criticism towards themselves instead of the system.
nilfisk
Self evaluation. If the company fails your are responsible, because you are a not a worker, but a COworker!

These are awesome. Really, really effective, building a language out of subtle bits and pieces. Are you recovering from a shitty corporate job, or what sparked your choice of themes?
Great skills!
Your vector's images is ROCK!

Thanks - no this is largely based on research, or though it definitely is a reflection on my opinion about the school I am attending. But I think obligatory positivity is a general problematic tendency.

Thanks a bunch :)
Since Bo finally has gotten around to upload this video, then I am going to share it. It is a school project I did together with two buddies of mine last year. It is a "real life" version of a 90's point and click. We "kidnapped" people from around the school, disorientated them and left them to figure out how to get out and why they where there. This is the feed from the webcam that we had set up so we could see what they were doing.
