You know, I should be shocked at this, and upset, but I am neither. Yes it is sad that a toddler was killed, however I have become de-sensitised to the whole "Oh no, a baby was killed". Look at it from this way, if it was an adult killed, no one would be saying "oh no, its horrible and sad". They would just accept it and maybe feel sorry for the family. The only reason this is different, is because it was a toddler.

If this story is true, I lost even more faith for humanity. Even though I am against the death penalty, if a toddler says I love you and they still kill her, both her mother and stepfather shouldn't receive life in prison, but maybe 10 life sentences, or the death penalty.

Since when is the world ending? I have my own reasons for being upset also and i dont expect a damn thing from you or anyone else. My reason was my best friend had a miscarriage after being through hell. Now she has 2 georgeous daughters and is an amazing mum. Thats what i thought about thats all. Watching how good she is with them... I have learned one thing though from this. Stay away from threads that may just hit a nerve.
