This little girl loved her parents even though they abused her. And she tried to stop these two fucked up parents from killing eachother by saying, "I love you".

I don't know any human being who wouldn't cry at something this tragic. No matter what, a life should be respected--to an extent. Murderers had their chance and blew it.

How could you kill a little girl? A little girl that hasn't been in the world too long. There's no re-doing life. What did she do to deserve that? She never had a life! She never got to make friends, go to school, to do anything!

Crimes like this are rare. To make them even more rare, an eye for an eye would work.

If we listened to Gandhi all the time, then Hitler would've still been marching his troops up and down Europe.

It's hard to know what goes on inside these criminals' heads. I could never bring myself to harm a child, let alone murder it and try to cover it up. There is one thing we can be happy for though, the parents have been caught, and hopefully, some form of justice will be delivered.

The US's system isn't "an eye for an eye." I haven't seen a murderer always killed, instead, it's jail. A murderer isn't even always punished! They have to decide on "how" guilty he is! Livin' here long enough, I've seen plenty of problems with the legal system, and it's definitely not "eye for an eye."

The likelihood of a death senetence is low because of the social stigma surrounding the whole issue, and while I agree that the justice system is flawed that does not validate the death penalty as a deterrent to crime.
