This is truly the first time that I felt sad over learning of such a thing.
I was playing the whole thing in my head and it was awful. Once she said "I love you." I would've just stopped myself, not beat her to death. I don't know how you could continue after the first blow.

This proves that there is no god. You know that there is no such thing as free will when someone (the mother) does something that is so much against her true will. I have proof; the mother had NO interest whatsoever in killing the child; therefore she didn't want to kill the child (by human nature; people only do things that are in their interest - moral or personal), yet she did kill her, therefore there is no free will - she acted purely on impulse, thereby completely inhibiting her true will. Also, people who are disabled do not have free will to do what they want and people who have certain mental illnesses cannot have freedom of thought. Humans do not have free will beyond what their physical and mental capability provides; it is highly restricted.

To protect one's child is a natural instinct, not free will. In fact it is the opposite. This woman apparently lacked the natural feeling to protect other humans, even ones created by her.
