I'll get the Polish mafia on your ass for that, meaning that you would have to take out a hit on yourself!
If you wanna make a donation to the michael fund and buy me a new hd I will be on an os other than windows and won't be using notepad anymore.

Visual Studio is good. GTK isn't bad either, but Visual Studio gives you MFC.. even though you won't be using them in C.

by GUI I mean that it should have GUI, it doesn't have to be able to produce stuff with it. (look at my pick, but it may be to small.)

I'm not sure about GTK.. it might be free. Visual Studio is not free - look for Microsoft Visual Studio 6

No, but try SecureCRT. It's easy to use and customize.

What luck, I'm rying to figure out SecureCRT and how to work it, if so could you help explain a few blanks.
It wants a hostname, mine right? And mine is set to port 22, and I use qwik conect everytime cause they said its the best for newbies, i have a unix shell account I want to upload stuff to.

Well I guesss just because it's easy to use it doesn't mean it's idiot-proof. Yes, the hostname is the computer you're trying to connect to (such as yahoo.com or 192.168.0.1). You shouldn't need to change the port number, unless you changed the port number on which the server is listening for a telnet/ssh connection.
Look at the Help text. Don't ask stupid questions.

I read it and it sucked, allit said was that this is that and that is this, it NEVER said exactly what goes in the feilds. There are no stupid questions.

It's clear when what you should do. If I can go on yahoo right now and with a few clicks find a dozen pages that tell me exactly what to do, then you asking that is a stupid question.

Perhaps you misunderstood me, I mean I searched using metacrawler but I found nohing that actually helped me at all, and by me saying there are no stupid questions, I mean that if someone does not know something and they ask it is not a stupid question, no matter what it is, its better to ask then go on not knowing at all.

True, but I just told you.. I could go to a search engine and find at least a dozen sites that tell me how to use SecureCRT. It's not that hard.
