Im pretty much finished with my game "Ancient Warrior" ive had it up on FlashGameLicense.com for mabey a month or two now and ive had no bids. I want to hear your toughts. So please play it tell me what you think if it would be worthy of anny sponsorship etc.

Very buggy, slow, and repetitive. Submit it to a sponsor and see what they say. Remember that the majority of sponsors are flash developers as well. They know what it takes to have a good game. So talk to them.

A lot of small games get sponsored by small game sites, so there's always a chance someone might be interested. The movement in the game is absurdly slow, playing as runner which is supposed to be fast or something I move a pixel every second... definitely speed the player up. Also it would be nice if you took out the mochi ads for the example swf, not going to be getting much money from 20 people trying to preview your game.

Keep the sound the same, it really suits it. Up the sound on the sword slashes and weapon hits (for you). Make your guy faster, graphics are good, make some better backgrounds, stop having the enemy come from outside the BOX.

Once you do that, DEFINITLY u could get sponsored. Maybe KONG might take you.

Thanks everyone. Defcon tell me how its "Very buggy?" im pretty sure there are no bugs in it.

To everyone that says its to slow... Did you change the first perk? Juggernaut makes you extremely slow but increases your health. Try a diffrent perk and the movment should suit you.

Play it bud. My sword went through like 8 or 9 enemies at once and I only got a double kill? And there was an enemy that was standing behind me, touching my player mc, who I happened to kill as well. You should limit the hitTest() to the sword. Also, try adding more gore. If you chop someone, shit, make it get stuck in their neck or something and you have to yank your weapon out in a spray of blood. Try giving the enemies a modicum of intellegence. Archers should stand back from the action. Oh, and I got swamped like 2 seconds in. What kind of a difficulty curve is that!? The game needs a bit more polish. More balancing and stuff.

Interesting game; I like how you give the player a lot of options for customizing their character (stat-wise, at least). The game is far too easy when you're an archer with all the speed perks, though. I just ran in circles shooting at the middle (where all of the enemies congregated) until I had about 4000 points and got bored.

Having said that, the game might be too hard for melee classes, I only played one round with a melee class though so I could be wrong.

You could probably get it sponsored.

Add backgrounds and props and stuff, it's boring and doesn't feel done, once you've killed one guy, you've basically killed every other dude too as nothing changes.

This has great potential, but it doesn't feel finished. Add a background, make the menus less generic, don't have the enemies come from outside of the playing field (maybe add gates they come out of in the background), don't have that much enemies (extremely easy to get overwhelmed), have more variety in enemy types, fix some bugs etc.

I really like the concept, but the game doesn't feel finished.

We've already addressed that. Customize the character and use perks or w/e.

Also, idea: mix it up. Have weapons break and weapons dropped. Give the stats meaning other than how fast the character moves or how much damage they deal. Oh, and you should stop the vcam/frame at the edge of the level. It looks very ugly being able to see past walls.

Does no one bother to change their stats? Change the perks in the menu before the main game if you want a faster character.
