Well, you have to have the file to upload it, and the file has to be an mp3 or a .wav or else flash won't open them.

I would assume it's due to DRM.

Mhm. Try burning it to a CD, and then copying it from the CD onto your computer again. Use that one, and post some results.

This is really disappointing. It's throwing me off my groove to do this project. Other people must have had the same problem. Please, if you know something that i might have missed doing to eradicate this problem, let me know. I've tried everything.

Where did you download the mp3/wav? Does it work in iTunes? Does it work in other programs?

i have it from itunes and it works fine there, i can listen to it and everything. i also downloaded it from limewire, its only when i want to import from either of these that i get the error message.

Wouldn't it be fantastic if that worked.

Try importing other songs or any other sound effects.

iTunes drm is easily circumvented. Just burn whatever songs you want on to a CD, then change you iTunes options so that when it imports music from a CD it converts the CD stuff to mp3.

80% of the songs in iTunes are now DRM-free. If you bought the song before this year, make sure it's upgraded to iTunes Plus. If it isn't, it costs about 30% of its price to upgrade.

If hes gonna put it in a flash it would be better for him to have the song be a .wav instead of an .mp3.
Wavs are bigger in the fla but much much smaller than mp3s in the swf.
Poozy killed it :(
