Seriously though guys. Cut it out. Tom's gonna get bored of it and start deleting people.

Its getting a bit much, I agree. He'll start just ignoring all of them PM's, Or banning people for a while for bothering him with that sort of thing. I can understand some name changes, But some of them seem so unnecessary.

I'll keep my beautiful Username <3

Bumpin' away
A thing that's been bothering me for a while came back to me when I saw the recently bumped three-year old thread:

Can aynone explain to me just how the fuck do these noobs find these years-old discussion threads and manage to bump them? I mean, it's not exactly like they're on the third page or something, so how the hell do they do it? And why? >:(

UserName Origins.

Mine simply came from my last name, 'Currie'. Which happened to be taken up, So I went pretty wild and added the good old 'i' To the front. I personally think its better than adding '00' to the end or whatever, it flows nicer that way.

Thankyou iPod <3

User Name Origins

Mine was already explain a while back... but for those who wonder... My nickname/username has always been Neko. My musical partner is Aeroprism. So... Nekoprism. Wasn't too hard.

And Neko is Cat in Japanese... and it's just because I like cats and I think Neko sounds good. And if I'm not mistaken... Aeroprism's name came from Phantasy Star... but he would have to explain...

Man, back in the day I used to be GhostExile. I saw the word Exile in some RPG I played and thought it sounded cool. So I put Ghost on the front of it, which naturally just made it even cooler.

Then I changed it to Gorglore :3 Yeah, more RPG totally not nerdy at all type stuff.

Then they stopped allowing us to change names, so I requested Tom to change it to Ambimetric, and he did. It was a rushed name I thought of in 2 days when I decided I wanted to make ambient music. Yeah, that's why I never liked it.

Now I'm a super hero who fights crime with sick basslines.
Or, just sits at home maekinbeatz

Gorgoroth is the name of some location in LOTR universe, and I just thought it sounded really cool. I did not name myself after the black metal band. They are decent, but I'm not a huge fan of black metal in particular.

So I just took the MICH part, and added himself.
Used that name first time at... Runescape. When I was 13 or so :p

Btw, I'm considering making my full name show up at my audio submissions, would that be a good idea?

Woah, these origins are pretty cool xD
i'll try- though mine is crappy

Well, I was making a myspace for all my crappy music, (eg Mountain Range) and I saw on a men's deodorant it was called, "Zero" , so I thought, "hey, that's a pretty cool name"

So then I came to naming the myspace and "Zero" wasn't available - so I was creative and named maself "-Zero-" xD

It's when I came to naming the URL I though hmmmm, zero. music? */zeromusic' taken.
zero1? taken
zero2
zero3
zero123? taken
zero123music? voila!

so I had to make my newgrounds name teh same xD

and that's the story.

My thoughts precisely.

You clearly don't have lives then if that's all you can relate the name Dexter to.
... he's also a murderer.

Back when I just needed to make myself a Yahoo! account to send my friend some files, I was listening to the song 'Hades' by the Finnish melodic death band Kalmah. I tried to put it in as my username, but it was taken, obviously. I tried appending '13', 'cause I just love to use the number as often as possible- it freaks some people out. XD After it was taken, I went for '0013'. Don't really know why I put in two zeroes. :P

Sweet box

Spent today in the shop making myself a box for my soldering station (a nice hakko dual iron deal. didn't want to carry it around loose.)

If you care enough to see the inside, let me know and I'll post another photo.

Where did my username come from? I'll tell you.

When I was in 8th grade (that would be 3 years ago), My friends called me "Jin from Tekken". With that, they decided to sing this song... something about "sippin on gin and juice"? I'm not sure... Ever since, I have been called JinNJuice.
Sometimes I would spell it as JinNJoos. No difference in pronouncing.

Here the inside be. Everything fits really nicely, with no rattling around of any sort.

The closure is just loosepin hinges because I'm too poor to go buy a hasp.
