There's a really simple, anytime-anywhere solution to foreskin being "gross". This guy wrote a very helpful and educational song about it!

So what happens now? I think that it would be quite exhausting to live in a constant state of universal dissonance, always on the look out for brief little pockets of harmony.

Don't take this the wrong way, but remaining static and expecting everything else around you to become accommodating is an amazingly self-centered view of the world which is surely going to prevent you from reaching your full potential? You've got to try and meet the world half way. If you're looking for harmony, you need to establish an equilibrium.

You will have convictions that you will always stick to. But if half the time you choose to compromise on an issue in such a way that produces and releases a net benefit to the people/environment surrounding you, then surely you're on your way to a harmonious integration with the universe.

Titling your post so to reflect subject matter

If Chron did it, every post of his would begin like:

If that is "too harsh", then I'm not surprised that kids are pussies and we're all messed up.

It's Chronamut - Not Harsh is too harsh, we know him enough now. We just have to forgive and forget I guess, unfortunately..

Compared to the idiots pissing on Steve Jobs' grave, justifying Richard Stallman's repeated, completely unnecessary insults, and laughing at any attempt to question their ideologies, while calling everyone else "sheeple", Chron here is pretty fucking high on my "decent human beings" list.

Just sayin'.

Yeah, no shit. If I was in Chronamut's shoes, I'd be pissing myself from InvisibleObserver's comment! Chronamut, being the decent guy he is, will probably not be offended at all and will find the comment funny. It's not like it's a real insult... Only sensitive 15-year-olds and those younger would get worked up about it.

Can you give me some advice on this guitar? I would really like that. Because i actually think of buying this thing, now that i have a bit more money to spend.

Yeah. I have an acoustic guitar already and now i want an electric guitar.
This (99 euros = 132 US dollars) seems like a good deal to me. In combination with this (79 euros = 105 US dollars).
What do you think? :O

Id be carful buying Jack and Danny guitars, they break down way to easily and they generally sound kinda bad, but they are reasonable if thats your price range, im not quite sure how it would sound with the 30 wat.

Guitar "packages" from brands that aren't very well known are likely to be crap. You can get a used Epiphone for less and it'll probably last you longer and make you a happier person. Or you could save up some more and get a new one.

Also are you sure you want that kind of guitar. It's got two humbuckers, which will give you a fat, growly sound; you might like the sound of single coil pickups better (cleaner, brighter and more versatile sound). Which brings me to the piece of advice I give anyone ever who asks which guitar to buy on the internet: go to a guitar store, pick up a few guitars in your price range, play on them for a bit and see what you like, and talk to a professional (i.e some guy who works in the store).

As for the amp, dunno never heard of it.

Sup guys.
Long story short, I want to start taking music production more seriously. I want to know more about what I'm doing, and how to take advantage of a broader range of knowledge when it comes to making a track. Do you guys know of any good places to start? Any good books to read, etc? I'm not a complete novice, but my tracks aren't up to the standard I think they could be at, and I really don't think I should be having such a hard time getting an idea from my head to the DAW. Any advice is appreciated, thanks in advance.

I did some research on that amp, i had neighbor in this dorm I used to live in that had that amp, it sound fine clean, but the distortion on that thing is way too high pitched and screaming.
The guy had a custom gibson that he played through that thing, what a waste of money that was...

Don't ask for a genral solution for "how do I make better music". Focus on one of your problems at a time: look up some music theory if you need to brush up on that, look up mixing tutorials if thats your problem etc

Ok, new topic.

Permanent aroma something products
I bought a used Jazz bass some time ago, only problem is that the hardcase smells like stale air. One of my other cases smell like sweet, sweet vanilla and another smells like new car, so I want my bass case to smell nice too. Maybe something fruity. What kind of product do I use to add a permanent smell to the case (without it smearing the guitar)? I've tried air freshener and perfume but it didn't last very long.

Get one of those little tree car fresheners, they come in many smells.

Tree car fresheners. Is that made to make a tree smell like car, or is it to freshen a car made of tree?

I wasn't clear enough for the down syndrome patients in the crowd apparently.

You shouldn't use that illness as a way to swear at people (not that I'm offended or anything, I just don't like it).

It's also refereed to as 'prince charming's disease' given the individuals with it tend to be in a good mood near always.
