I googled the word Kathara and got these three websites- all of which copy from each other. I also skimmed through the document you PMed me. Most critically there are no references to outside sources (talk about a supposed artifact that isn't mentioned anywhere else on the internet except those three sites doesn't count). I also see that they use a lot of well-defined scientific terms, several of which I'm familiar with the meaning of, from a wide range of fields - but they use them in combinations and contexts which are completely meaningless, to create pages upon pages of nonsensical babble. That really doesn't appeal to me.
Rather, on the completely opposite end of the spectrum, I get a far, far more satisfying feeling of understanding and enlightenment from learning about physics. Pretty much everything that happens in the world can be explained by our current understanding of physics - and best of all, it can be explained with rigorous, often very simple mathematics that is anyone can validate independently, and the information is available everywhere. No need for occult scripture, blind trust in supposedly ancient wisdom/teachings, or pretty looking crystals and shapes.
you should really research it SBB - I think you of all people would really benefit from it's teachings :)
Why me in particular?

funyn thing about physics- it only explains HALF of the equation - kathara explains how atoms are actually FORMED.. but the best thing about the teachings is only those that resonate with it will look into it - so if it doesn't with you, that's perfectly cool - we life in a free will universe :)
also there are others that talk about it - however the one website is where all the main info comes from, because only 3 people in the world are allowed to translate off ot he CDT plates at any given point in history, for fear the information will be warped, and originally, the teachings were only allowed to be spread by word of mouth, so they wouldnt be warped, and turned into things like.. oh .. say.. the bible, or the koran, and twisted.. but that's another story. :)
Just thought I'd bring it up - for anyone that is interest me and Jordan discuss this stuff further on his Brand Spanking new Website

We can certainly explain through physics how atoms were formed in the early universe, and to some extent the subatomic particles. But of course unlike in religion scientists have the integrity to admit that we don't know everything (the very first events of the universe being one of them), and no knowledge is set in stone.
we life in a free will universe :)
arguable. :)

what
So if only 3 people (who chooses them anyway?) - I believe it is reasonable to assume they are human, fallible beings - are allowed to interpret this supposed artifact, that somehow prevents its information from being misrepresented!? o_o
As opposed to what, having a large amount of people examine it, and having these people discuss and argue about it - and eventually arriving on a general consensus - thereby removing any mistakes that could arise from one person's personal interpretation? (And documenting the whole process of course)

Ive provided the means- I have no need to argue the specifics with you - you can find that stuff out with further research, which you won't do, since it doesn't resonate with you :)

I stopped reading there.
On a serious note though; if you find something that makes you happy, makes you respect people and enjoy life, that's a great thing.

Something neat about the NG audio visualizer which you may not know
I just discovered something neat about the visualizer on listen page on NG. When you open up a song page, pause the song, then open another webpage with sound through flash in a new tab, the NG visualizer will visualize that sound.
An example:
Open up this or any other track, pause it.
Then, open up a track on SoundCloud (only thing I've tested so far), and start playing it.
Now, switch back to the NG tab and enjoy the visualization.
If this was common knowledge and I'm just late to the game, carry on. :3

spirituality
is awesome, as long as you try to maintain a little objectivity (arguably impossible) and a healthy amount of skepticism. Don't buy too much into dogma, whether it be religious or scientific.

I think the conscious attempt at engaging in objectivity is a remarkable indicator of a persons caliber in itself.
I myself am not spiritual, though I don't find myself incapable of understanding, or inflexible on the matter. I feel blind remarks or interests in something from what seems like an autonomical pull towards some sort of in the pavlovian trained novelty response a bit trite though.
Also <3 Jarrydn. You're a fresh diaper in a see of poop.

Fixed my horrendous grammar/proof read failure.
As for titling posts, its so there is a clear subject to your post, it makes skimming the page easier.

College is overrated. Find something you like doing, then do it so hard you become awesome in the process. If this requires college, go do it. If it requires travelling halfway around the world, go do it. If it requires sitting in a room getting stoned and making music, fucking do it. The only thing that should concern you is how to get better at doing what you like doing. Everything else is paperwork.

I don't think it's at all impossible to maintain a degree objectivity whilst learning about spiritual and metaphysical concepts. The only people who say otherwise are hardline athiests who are too close minded to look beyond Dawkins' ramblings.

Sorry, it was a terribly worded phrase. I think what I meant to say was thattotal objectivity is impossible, but it's important to try and exercise it as much as possible (which is my subjective opinion :P). I also think that it's good practice to employ the usage of grammatical constructs such a E-prime, when getting in discussions over topics which harbor a lot of subjectivity. I keep forgetting the rules of E-prime though (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it).
Science is great, but I choose to treat it with the same skepticism as spirituality. I am equally fascinated with both, and assemble my world view from equal parts. This is probably why I like psychology...it's almost like the intersection between the two (especially when you start going back to the days of Freud and Jung)
After an intense period of existential angst, followed by years of nihilism, it's relieving to be able to give my life some meaning again, and have conscious control over the re-assembly of my ego.

Concert today
At the local entertainment center thing. Feeling really hyped. Taking part in such events is always fun and just awesome. The feeling when you get on stage is fantastic. Glad that I have the possibility to experience it again today
I am going to sing three songs and dance during two more songs, which will be sung by my troupe mates. Overall we have 23 songs, so the whole thing is gonna last two hours.
WISH ME LUCK, BISHES
Also, didn't post 10 or so pages, I miss this place
