I don't see the resemblance.

Actually , there are some people that refers synths as "sounds" for some paranormal reason. Like "I wanna recreate that sound" or " I like this sound". Maybe he is talking about presets but take in mind that samples are pre-recorded synths.

So yeah, i really don't know what the fuck does he means.

You mean ''presets' are pre-recorded synths', right? Because to me, samples are just clips of already existing material that are used for something new.

I think "pre-recorded" is a better description of a sample, because you have to actually record samples.

Also, my advice to whoever originally asked for sounds: get samples for drums, make everything else yourself.

Very Nice.

Yeah, it was, and that was actually kind of creepy that you made that reference....

Perhaps even creepier than saying "...stay awhile, stay FOREVER!"

Currently, there are 17 songs that have a 4.49+ rating in hip hop-modern... did the zero bombers finally leave? It used to be you couldn't find 8 songs wtih a 4.44+ rating, but at the moment there are 70 of them!

On another note, my one trance track just receieved a massive zero bomb overnight... so IDK.

Hip-Hop isn't the most popular genre on Newgrounds, so zero-bombers don't visit that page much. That's also why you're almost guaranteed to get a Top 5 spot when you submit a Latin/Ska song, because nobody cares about those as soon as they leave the Portal, and then you can happily vote 5 on them yourself.

Defretted Bass
A good friend of mine who pretty much got me into bass decided to defret his older [beginner] bass (some Ibanez Soundgear thing). By himself, he removed the frets, wood glued (or something) the gaps, and sand the whole neck back down into proper shape.

pics and recordings to come

Hmmm... I'm not sure about that. I feel like trance is a little higher than normal as well, even if only a few hundredths of a point. And that's not true at all you're Latin/Ska theory, I barely ever see them up top -- usualy just trance/house/techno -- and also another lesser used category, RnB, by your theory it would be on the top 5 like Latin but it's not. Do you think NG is cracking down on zero bombers at all? That's what I'm thinkin or somethin.

I want to do that to a cheapish guitar. And by I want to I mean I want a professional to.
