You bet I'm drinking! I just ate a full load of doner kebab, my throat feels like it's made of sandpaper!

Has any one here ever collabed with someone over the internet? I've always wanted to work with someone to make song or something, but none of my friends listen to trance/house, so I'd have to do it online :/

Very Nice.

It's easiest if you find someone that uses the same program as you. I haven't done a collab in forever and the last one I did was in FL... cause I'm super outdated and use Reason 3.

Damn I've gotta upgrade

yeah me and dreamscaper tried a few collabs - but he used reason and I use fl.. and I just find resaon cumbersome to work in these days so it didn't go so well - so I would def. agree that using the same program is a major plus.

There are a lot of cool cats here who would be glad to collab with you. You just gotta search around. To make communicating easier you could use a online messenger like Skype, MSN etc

Sorry for double post here.

You do? I'm guessing your right ear. I had infections in both ears ever since I went on vacation. I couldn't close my jaw for, like, a week and then I still have pain in my left jaw now. I had muffled hearing in my right ear until a couple days ago, so when I went to see my doctor(Indian doctor ftw) I told him about it and he said it wasn't a problem. I then had to remind him of what I do in life and then he went into detail on what was wrong and that it could last for a possible 6 to 8 weeks and if it didn't go away before then to call him.

Luckily, it's gone now but I had to put up with it when I was mixing my Long Time tribute. It ended up sounding fine (until I put that damn -6 dB mixing device on it) but it was still a bitch because of how my hearing was affected.

Oh shit, I can't believe I misspelled that. And put an s instead of a z in the title and on bandcamp so I have to go around and fix it.

Not only that, that's how I spelled it on the test I took in German class :c

You kidding? I don't even have school or work and I try my best NOT to do that. It makes time slip by too quickly for my tastes, as being unemployed really is a difficult thing. You feel as though your life is wasting away, you're bored easily, anxious and other things I guess you'd describe as being depressed but I take anti depressants so, whatever.

My musical drive definitely suffers as a result. You'd think it'd give me more time to work on music, but I just lay around and surf the internet, watch movies and read books. I want to play my video games because they help provoke thought and other positive shit but I get bored for no reason when I play them.

I've wanted to join a band again for a long time now. I'm going to try starting one with my sister in law's boyfriend.

Drawl and dribble, Jesus, I need to shut up.

I find myself feeling similar with my lack of school going on, I'm too easily able to squander my time away. I've been running and socializing a lot which is good, but musically I've slipped a bit.

Quick question that someone can hopefully answer... Does anyone know if NI Massive has a master Envelope for amplitude, or will I have to use one of the Envelopes and put them on the Amp of each OSC? I just want a longer release on one of the synthes I made XD

Envelope 4 should by default be on the master amp already, just edit that.

It's been two hours and I've already had a comically terrible day, in a sequence-of-having-to-take-bullshit-from -people-and-having-ridiculous-accidents kinda way. Anyway, I saw an old guy limp-run in a huge arc around a black cat to avoid the cat crossing his path (presumably due to superstition), so it's all ok

Rahmemhoteps depression thingy

I understand you, man. You really feel useless in this huge amount of free time. I mean, yeah, the first two weeks are always a blessing, you hang around with friends, do random shit and spend time as you want, but in the end it gets repetitive or something. Really somewhat a depression

And during school I feel like my brain is more active and I think a lot more. So in the end, I think school and work isn't that bad, but people need to take breaks once in a while. But not big ass ones.

Yea Im rather useless musically during the summer as well TOO much time can be a bad thing. School and work give you time to pent up musical ideas and actually make you wanna write instead of just staring at a DAW for 12 hours straight. Bands are fun, do it.
