Dudes, you don't even know, I flipped shit when I felt that earthquake here in Pennsylvania. I was laying down and I felt sick so I thought I was having convulsions or something! It was scary as hell since I 1. had no idea wtf was happening to me, 2. never experienced an earthquake in my life and 3. didn't expect to ever feel an earthquake in PA.

I immediately freaked the fuck out and texted my wife, frantically asking if that was an earthquake. She didn't feel it but her mother texted her telling her there was an earthquake down south so that explained away my fear of having had convulsions.

Thank God.

So I'm wondering, anyone who's good at cutting vocals want to collab? lol
I really want to learn how to how to cut vocals WELL

1. its exactly the same technique as beat slicing. You just have to edit the waveform in milliseconds to get good cuts without any clipping.
2. You need to adjust the volume envelope of each individual cut , for really short vocal clips just turn up the decay on your reverb, it should fade out into air.
3. To combine different cuts just intersect the fade in and the fade out between two cuts
4. Listen for the vowels
5. make sure the vocal cut accents at least one beat in each phrase.

it's all good....have you tried building from the vox cuts; without planning the track ahead, making it up as you go along (basically the opposite of good common sense)

Rahmemhoteps earthquake experience

Back a year ago, I visited my relatives in Chile. Earthquakes happen often there, so they don't give a flying fuck about the ones with a smaller magnitude.

So I was sitting in front of my laptop. Yawned and at some point, my laptop started moving left. I was confused. It almost fell over the edge, when I understood what happened. The sight of a laptop moving on it's own was fucking paranormal lol

I just concluded that if you put 'Deadmau5' in the name of your song, the chance of people voting 5 increases with 35%. :D

expects a zero-bomb now

Sequenced and I have been talking and we're thinking maybe sometime in November. Some people are starting school soon, so in November most people would be pretty much settled in school. It's not set in stone, just an idea.

Anyone else down for a meet around then?

Yeah , he grabs the center of the drum stick and his hand makes the same movement that we make to open doors.

That's pretty sick. I'd like to see him do some paradiddles, I bet he's also a master at those.

Before starting the class we always do a little warmup with the diddle rudiment. We do single, double, triple, dragadiddle and drag paradiddle.

His specialty are double bass drums though
