He said he'll get it done in a few hours, so I'm staying up very late to receive his list. Then, Echo wakes up very early so I can give the list to him and we can decide on who enters in the case of any ties, the opponent pairings, etc...
If all goes as planned we'll get it done before midnight (NG Time).

Same here, but as I said, I want to include it in the name.
Like: Boss bossanova, flaming flamenco, Bitchass Boogie etc....

So, this animation is about 2 animes fighing and a new plot rises between them
ORIGINAL RIGHT!? *troll face*
Well, I did this project a while back, and it was horrible! IT WAS BAD
So I decided on re doing it way better...
and it turned out pretty nice
I got a youtube video on the first 2 episodes if anyone wants me to link it here :o

Nope, I only remember seeing the list that big when I joined I think.
Right now the waiting time is like only 4 days or so, and it's been the roughly the same waiting time for weeks.

consumerism
so I got my taxback, and bought a bunch of tasty bits for a new computer. I haven't upgraded since 2005, so this is kinda a big deal for me lol. however, I am dismayed to find that I'm already trawling the internets for a much more powerful machine, and essentially counting down the time until I can get a server grade opteron-based system. 4 physical CPUs (each with 12 cores @ 2.2ghz) and 128gb of ram. I've never been obsessed with raw computing power before, but suddenly the idea of slapping down 7 grand on a server blade doesn't seem so bad. once I get rich and famous, it's right at the top of my list hahaha
I dunno, maybe once I finish building my current box I'll be satisfied enough with it's performance. is anyone here with a beefy machine finding that they can still max out it's capabilities?

I use an overclocked Q6600 (at only 3.0 gHz), and even with my massive amounts of simultaneous vsts and plug-ins, I only max that system out when I put the midi interface on an octave mode.
I don't know if you can consider a 775 based system "beefy" anymore though. But it's been a lot more responsive since I upgraded to windows 7 and 8 gigs of ram, and a SSD.

What OS were you running before?
I'm trying to ascertain whether it is a good idea to run XP pro 64 on my setup (i5 2500k, 16gb, SSD). I to run a fairly lean setup, but obviously not at the price of the greater performance gains that windows 7 may/may not offer

I was running XP before. If you're getting a newer generation processor like the i5 2500K, I'd go with WIndows 7 64 bit. I guess the folks at the computer hospital could give you some advice on that as well. They're bigger nerds than I.

That's what I thought at first, but then my doctor told me that my second set of ears is actually receiving information from another dimension. I'm not going to go into the maths here because there's too many hypercubes, but until I get this computer, you will never be able to hear what my reality sounds like.

I had XP 32. And I had a 7200RPM seagate. So far windows 7 64 hasn't had any problems with running both my older 32 bit programs AND my newer 64 bit applications at the same time.

i know you guys start sweating everytime i bring this up but i was just wondering why chiptune music isnt really that accepted in its own genre videogame<---
Its been said before that chiptune should get its own genre, when will it?
(and yes its 'srs buisiness') cause every single genre can be found in videogame nowadays, from orchestral>house>trance> blablabla to rap.. its like a dumping ground for your music when you want it to be used in a videogame but thats not how a genre choice should be used on ng.. It cant be prevented that people use it so people must be guided like how jesus would guide matzes to the people.
just my 2 cents.

^_^
btw i just saw one of my recent chiptune tracks has 26 downloads, holy shit.
Anyway reason i brought it up just yet was when i saw another 'looking for music for my videogame' topic on the forums and i was like 'i will check it out seeing as i too make VIDEO GAME music' _._
And everyone in the thread just posted every single genre you could name.
So then i remembered people posting about they wanting a chiptune genre, and i agree.
(but everytime i used to bring it up people would be like making a meme out of it or something)
But now its ok.
