placing a sound "anywhere" is something you can already do with stereo imaging plugins and SCIENCE, and it doesn't really work as nicely in conventional mixes, and it doesn't work at all on anything that isn't a pair of headphones

It's an Intel i7. I just need to have my external fans under it for a couple of days.

I'm wondering if I should buy a new computer.. I mean my computer is great and all but I don't know if it will be able to handle what I want it to do..

it's a quad core.. but it seems technology is evolving more rapidly than the computers themselves.

Eh, it was the special for that day. While the cancer and honey were perfect, the diabetes was just a little too much. And it was a bit undercooked.

I hate skype because everyone always tries to call me and I don't really WANT to talk to people voice wise. Means I have to pay more attention and not be listening to music and shit.

Set skype to busy and you won't get notified at all if people try to call you.

That is beyond one of the awesomest pictures have ever seen in my life

Binaural.

So Binaural is just glorified Panning/Stereo Enhancing?

Imma go read thread nao.

Also, I bet in another couple years this'll be like Stereo was 10 years ago.

binmaural is just normal sound - stereo is like limited sound.. and mono is even more limited sound.

That's a huge stretching of definitions. Stereo means two channel sound. Binaural recording is a recording technique. Binaural panning is an effect that combines panning, delay and doppler effect to create fake surround with 2 channels. "Binaural sound" is just a binaural recording I guess, but it's certainly still stereo. Anything you that has anything to do with "binaural" is in stereo by definition.

shh - I like my thinly stretched definition :P

but yes of course you are correct. But let's not confuse people more than they need to be.
