capacitors.

And also, would you consider covering them in some aluminum or something, to make them look sleeker?

what?

I'm sorry, I wasn't clear, by them I meant the MIDI Synth and the PWM/Filter.

You were clear. Electronics aren't usually something you cover with aluminum. To make them 'sleek' you put boards in boxes.

When I started making music, myspace was by FAR the best place to market music to the non-musician market. No one goes around purevolume, soundcloud, reverbnation, unless they're artists with an account there. I bet all my my non-musician friends don't even know those sites exist.
It's been replaced by 3rd party facebook apps and youtube since.
I have an account on pretty much everything.

I just broke my low E and I gave my last pack of strings to my brother. Gotta make a trip to Mid Michigan Music tomorrow if I plan on finishing my NGADM song.

What instrument do you play? Guitar? Violin?

Piano?

I made a reverbnation account for my new project. Has been doing pretty good. Went from 294 in the local charts to 100 in a little over a week. But then again just finding the average non-musician metalhead to just randomly find my music is a bit hard. My next endeavor is to create youtube submission and try to circulate my music that way.

DRs cost about 10 bucks a pack and I'm not made of money.

even a couple of months and the strings get almost too gross to play, in my opinion.

I just listen to what the strings sound like. If the tuning is off because of oil build-up and other things that grow on the strings after a while I change'em. Unless the break before then. I use Ernie Ball Super Heavy. High E is 13.

I change my strings when they begin to go black. Can take months or years depending on which guitar I'm picking up and how long it's been since I played it last

If you would say that to somebody who didn't know what a guitar I doubt they'd do now.

Ive been playing a rusty acoustic for the past month lol.

You can make some serious glitchy stuff with that kind of rusty acoustic sound.
