Roflcopters

So today, me and my friend were listening to Heaven Road 2 (props Envy :P ) and he said he reckoned it would sound better if it was faster. After fiddling around, I was in a troll mood so I decided to completely destroy it. 20 minutes, 25% percent faster and 3 soundgoodixers later, I had thoroughly butchered it... the look on his face tomorrow when I play it to him is going to be priceless.

I dare you to do this for a whole year straight. It will go viral

I'll try doing this for the rest of my life.

I was able to do this for nearly 3 months a couple years ago, if I get a moderately sized following that I actually know is there it'll be easier to keep going cause I hate letting people down!

So how's that acapella contest that YOU wanted going?

Do I smell another deserted NAC?

NAC

It's kind of hard to keep people knowing about a contest when it is a page behind since people are forced to discuss on a "general thread" rather than in the actual contest area. Sorry chron but you might just have to make two threads for these contests, one for discussion and the other for submission, having one thread for EVERY contest isn't a good idea since not everyone will be able to easily keep tabs on it.

not a single NAC was ever deserted. The celtic NAC may not have had as many submissions but it's because everyone took the time to use all 3 weeks to work on it.

And whats with the animosity dude? the NAC is pretty much whatever I want it to be - so pipe down and sit down >:( - you got your user requested contest of time signatures. Unlike other genres you can't just whip up a good acapella in a day.. let people work on it. I am still confident that one thread for NAC discussion and one for NAC submissiosn is the way to go - that's how the old MACs were done if I remember correctly, although they each had their own specific discussion thread. I like one discussion thread for all NACs though - it keeps the rules at the beginning and keeps everythnig contained in one thread as opposed to leaving abandoned threads lying amock.

so stop bitchnig about a service being provided to you becasue I stepped up to the plate when noone else did Decimal. You all had a year or 2s worth of contests you could have been arranging, setting up prizes with tom, and consistantly outputting. And it's not like I don't mention the ideas for next months NAC and let everyone discuss it.

In short - shut the fuck up.

alright perhaps KirbyFemur is right - a new thread shall be made - the other one shall remain for just general ideas and overall discussion for future stuff.

My comment was only to help bring in more people since it's hard to get more people to participate when they don't even know it's there.

Also Decibel, please don't try and start something when you know even a small comment like the one you made can instigate some sort of actual rage. Only make comments like that if people are in a happy joking mood so that can be included in the happy

Milestones

Finally uploaded my 100th song. I've uploaded a lot more, I've only decided not to delete 100. Only 10 of them are worth listening to anyways lol. Anyone else have any recent milestones?

no, the awards in general were super late this year. xKore deserves the kudos though. This would have to be the first audio tank award I can agree with.

2 months of fearing for my life and being in protective services and filing 3 different restraint and protection orders later and I get grilled from my music theory teacher because I missed asignments due to not being able to come out of the room I was locked in to protect myself.

Nevermind that I aced all his tests and tutored 3 other students in the class, guess that doesn't matter. Now I have to retake a whole year of school. Thanks crazy fuck for ruining so much shit.

Any of you guys ever been sitting at your computer, and you're listening to music or something on your normal headphones/speakers, and you go to look why the volume is so low, and you find out it isn't? Not that its so loud you've deafened yourself, and perhaps you havn't even been sitting there for a terribly long time so to have dulled your reception of audio.

I had a 'quiet' sound day today and I'm sort of baffled as to why. I don't have any ear issues, and no technical variables were altered. It made mixing some music really frustrating.

Any similar experiences, or reasoning behind what I'll call a dampened hearing phenomena?

You might have had some weird pressure on your jaw or sinuses. You might be getting sick, other than that i can't think of much else other than just a random ear weirdness, i know i've had lots of those before

Klaxons
I generally am not much of a fan of theirs, but today I'm going to another country to see them because the tickets are selling for 1 euro. Me and a couple of friends will take a two hour drive, see a couple of bands perform, listen to the headliners and head back home! Hopefully, we'll find the time to squeeze in some booze between all the excitement. :3
