You have to tell them. Make sure you don't break it to them like, "Hey bro, you smell like shit." You have to tell them everyone likes them...just not their smell. You have to be blunt, but not a dick. I had to do this with my former roommate.

Sarcasm?
Pot directly? Probably not. But, I see Pot like I see Alcohol. If you do it in moderation, don't drive anywhere, and don't fuck up my day - than who cares?
But, what I can attest to is that it is, like all drugs, an inhibitor. So driving becomes a very dangerous thing; same with flying, or whatever the hell requires attention. I seem to remember reading somewhere that it's safer to drive drunk than high, because the pot effects your motor skills (stuff that's hardwired, like 'muscle memory').
Additionally, why the hell is 4/20 such a big deal? It's Adolf Hitler's birthday - I fail to see the connection between these two things...

Just tell the person.
I was told that i had an unpleasant smell when i was 15 or something (yes, really) and that made me realize i had to take better care of myself. Which i did from that day on.
It wasn't really nice to hear, but it did help me to realize that.

LOL
That's one of the most absurd things I've heard. Maybe you should do some "research" before you post "facts".

Pff. You shouldn't drive while drunk or high! Why is there even an arguement over this? It's absurd.

Hm. I don't seem to remember claiming that as a fact, just saying I MIGHT have read it somewhere. Not sure why you felt the need to act superior to me.
And absurd? This whole fucking subject is absurd. Why argue over this?

Forgive the double post, but fuck-
Here's your 'research'. Google it.
"...In reality marijuana can affect concentration, perception and reaction time up to 24 hours after it's smoked says the federal director of drug policies, John Walters. That is much, much longer than alcohol can affect behavior."

The focus isn't whether or not you should drive high, its whether or not it effects motor skills. The article you posted Lacrioso isn't very special. It relates to a lot of statistics addressing broad range drug usage not just marijuana, and it also doesn't take into account that people with marijuana in their system (who were in car accidents) weren't necessarily on the drug during their accident; or at least it doesn't make that clear. It reads a lot like propaganda to me. Also couldn't find any specific studies cited anywhere for it, just statements from people.

I'm not justifying driving under any influence, just thought it was worth posting. Apparently not... Granted, I could've posted something with a clearer and more reputable context, but it's what I found within my thirty seconds on Google.
Let bygones be bygones, I can admit when I'm wrong. Though, I wish I knew where it was I saw/read this 'fact', it was rather convincing.

Some people just go out of their way to support the use of marijuana because they like it.
There will be dusts clouds thrown up from both sides of the issue, UNTIL someone can finally prove that it's harmful.

The handful of times I smoked pot, I hated it. However, I've never been fond of that "not in control" feeling. Some people love it, some hate it.
But you make an excellent point, it's really easy to justify and rationalize the shit you like.

Pot advocates capitalize on this theory...

Is it not fair to say all advocates of anything capitalize on this theory? I mean, seems like a pretty basic thought; be bias to things that relate to you. I'm sure alcoholics and pedophiles rationalize everything to themselves. (Note on the Pedophile thing; once, fairly recent I might add, a friend quoted me a paragraph or two from "The pedophiles guide to love an pleasure" - not only was it terrifying, but his logic was sound and consistent.)

Well I wan't say ALL lobbyists do. But it's a fairly common practice to throw up dust and rely on people's pre-bias do the rest.
"Pot is harmless and should be 100% legal."
If you've had nothing but positive experiences from smoking pot, then you'd agree 100% with the above statement.
If you'd had friends kill themselves or get killed from pot usage via road accidents, then you'd be inclined to say that Pot is a dangerous mind altering substance as bad as or worse than alcohol etc.
Just remember a few decades back, nobody could prove or disapprove that smoking cigarettes caused cancer. Now it's universally proven and agreed (except for tobacco lobbyists) that it does. Marijuana enthusiasts should keep that in mind. It's just a matter of time.

Oh man, if you knew the conversations I've had recently.
Point digested - I suppose this whole topic could be summed up with "agree to disagree".
Lobbyists will destroy the world one day, I swear.

Sarcasm?
It was sarcasm. Then I looked it up out of curiosity (even though I've already seen a lot of articles and stuff that say marijuana does not cause OD death period) and found this, and lol'd at the response.
Supposedly it has vast number of chemicals in it that can cause cancer, at least thats what I heard from a drug official who works for the FDA. BUT I can't remember if they said that it was just because of the drug itself or (using the info from this quote I found) that it was the medium.
"...So for the question, "Does marijuana cause cancer?" the answer is yes and no. THC does NOT cause cancer, however over long long periods of time, the devices used to smoke weed can cause cancer...such as Blunt (Cigar Leaf), Cigar-weed (Tobacco Paper), Joint (Paper), Pipe, Bong (Water Filter), Vaporizer, ect..."
Either way, never done pot, never will. Just not my thing.

Sarcasm on the internet.
Cut it out. It's impossible for us to tell if you're serious or not. Sarcasm comes with a tone that's difficult to distinguish through text. I always assume that everything a person posts is legitimately how they feel unless they clarify otherwise. I know sometimes it seems silly to think "how can these people not realize I'm kidding" but if you look around at half of the things that get posted on the internet you'll quickly realize just how crazy some people can really be.
For example, I'm sexually attracted to plants.

Thanks for the link Quarl, I might have to check it out online sometime then.
On to another topic...
I got to chill with J Rabbit all night yesterday
Twas freakin cool. My crew and I booked him to play in Springfield last night, (which was an awesome show), and I was responsible for picking him up from the airport and such. So we kicked back, smoked a bit, and talked about a lot of audio production for a bit. He has some killer tunes coming out on Beatport next month (soooo fucking sick btw, dubstep/drumstep/electro lovers should keep an eye out for it), and he played a few other unreleased tracks as well.
But yeah, just got to hang out and discuss all sorts of stuff. He uses FL Studio as well, so he taught me a ton about mixdown, mastering, effect flow, various vsts... I'm excited to get to apply all of the knowledge!
