It's my third NG birthday today, wheeeee.
I picked up a cheap wacom tablet today, only EU50 for a Wacom Bamboo. I'm enjoying it so far, and I believe it may very well improve productivity in FL studio when I'm used to it a bit.

Fucking Instrument Cables
I've been asking people for what kind of instrument cables should I get that don't use gold as the conductor and all I ever get is a damn debate on whether or not gold is better than the other metal they use in those cables (can't remember)! The bastards miss the point every time!
Gold=better conductor+wears away faster
other metal=not as good conductor+wears away slower than gold
^end of story^
I need cables that don't use gold because I'm a multi-instrumentalist who is always plugging and unplugging. What cables would you recommend?
My sig is clickable and takes you some place.

I do, I'm using it regularly again after a long break of not needing to use it since I bought it.

umm just try it out and see if you like it, it's not like you HAVE to "stick" to either of them

I use both LOL.
I regret everything now, and I mean everything. Fuck this Bipolar shit, I can't stay in a good mood for more than 24 hours.
We got 8" of snow here and it's supposed to snow again tonight. Now, this may not be a lot for most people, but it's a lot when you're building a mega ramp in the backyard to snowboard down!

If you have decent insurance, find a psychologist that will put you on Zyprexa. My bipolar used to be severe but I've been on that for a few years now and I no longer suffer from mood swings.
I prefer to stay off that stuff honestly :/
Bipolar is just a sign of depression.
You are depressed, then you think you have a way out of it, and you get cheery... Then of course, what you thought was a way out you find impractical or non-effective, and you slump back into depression.
Buddha is the answer, my friend.
Look into the 5 noble truths. If you think you have to sit in a monastery wasting your life away, you missed the point.
Take it from me, I have long hair. That means I'm spiritual or something.
I totally meant 4 noble truths. typo, oops.
Anyway, if it's all too long, and you didn't read... Long story short you are miserable because you want shit that you can't have, and you let it effect your mood.
By "shit", that can be anything. It could be material, sensual, or even emotional.
As long as you are thinking about not being depressed, you are going to be depressed. You just have to let the thoughts kind of fly past you. That is what meditation attempts to teach.

Buzzy bit mix ahoy.
Watch me have setup transparencies wrong.
OMG... Double Sombrero!!!
What does it mean?!
Still got it!!!
After 3 years of having not touched a saxophone, today I played again (in a jazz band none the less) and amazingly I can still play like it had only been a month and not 3 years (even soloed a bit too today, which is new, because I'd never done a saxophone solo before).
Any of you guys have an experience like this, where you can put an instrument down for a long period of time and still manage to play it well?
I've never been able to play the piano, but recently, when I sit at a piano and just dick around it seems to kick major ass.
Like, last time I touched a piano, I wasn't really able to play anything more complicated than chords with my left hand.. Now I can actually do some polyphonic stuff.
I'm of the opinion that if you keep working on music.. if you get better at any instrument, at least some of it transfers to another instrument.
