I'm pretty sure I've developed a small form of insomnia this year. I literally cannot go to sleep before 3:00AM anymore. There will be days in a row where I have to run on 2 hours of sleep, but if I go to bed at say Midnight I'll lay awake for 2-3 hours, even with my eyes closed. It's annoying.
Now it's a mental thing where I'll wake up at 3PM and then 10pm comes around and I'm like hey I've only been up for 7 hours, I'll be wasting time if I sleep, then next thing you know its 3am anyways...
blah blah blah blah

Set your alarm to an earlier time, its easier to modify your sleeping habits by altering when you get up.
If you are a fatass and don't exercise, restless sleep is normal because you don't expel any energy.
If you have 8000 excuses as to why my suggestions are wrong and you some how have 'special insomnia', I'll grant you the special half of the status.

My doctor doctor doctor doctor doctor doctor.
IRL I just can't bring myself to go to sleep. Regardless of when I wake up. I can get up at 8am from going to sleep at 3am just fine, but as you can probably guess, it's not the healthiest lifestyle.
And no I excercise fine in fact some(most) would say I'm underweight (5'8 and 130 pounds lolz)
All in all it's my own fault, I'm by no means claiming it's a disorders fault (cause I hate when people do that) but I'm just saying, by definition insomnia is the inability to sleep.
SO YAHHHHHHH I've come to accept it. Winter break should help.

Lazy cake, I'm not sure asking others to do it for you qualifies as facing a beast.

Pfft. Sleep is for when you're dead.
Try not having sleep for almost three days in a row, consistently. Now THAT'S insomia.

Truefact. Though last time I ran a contest like this I ended up remaking the song. Might do the same this time around as well.

You know what DAWs need? A version control system.
Imagine you work on a project and decide it could be punchier. You save the current version. You do stuff to make it happen. The next day you wake up and realize you cheapened your tune and generally made it sound like poop. You open the version manager window and with two clicks all your effects and whatnot are back to the way they were before. Or before before. Like, uh, Windows restoration points or whatever they call those.
It wouldn't need much more disk space at all. Unless the versions differ by having different audio clips, but that wouldn't happen much, would it?
Also, branching out into alternative versions would be pretty cool. Programmers should know what I'm talking about (ever used git?). Imagine having a few different attempts at mixing in one project, just a click away.
Is there anything like that out there?

The new ohm studio has features like that. It saves grips of versions of your song to go back to the state you had it in. Also it just looks orgasmic

I didn't even have a choice in staying up; if I went to sleep, I know for a fact I'd miss my morning final in about an hour. I'm better off just going into a coma afterward and sleeping until my next 8 AM final.
