Sup?

Nothing much is going on in the neighboring state while Mardi Gras rears its sinful head.

Carnival

or Mardi Gras, or whatever the hell you'll decide to call it.
In my country I really hate, it's just another commercial scame where the whole point of celebrating the carnival is to get dressed up in silly and/or slutty costumes and either go to Vallette (Capital City) or Gozo (Island Very close to us, part of our archipelago).
I use to love it when I was younger and go out with my friends and stuff but now the whole point of it is pretty sickening.
All you find is smokers, drugs, and really obnoixious people, like my friends.

Anyone else here feel the same?

Despite this the last few posts being extremely funny, I kinda agree with chron, people are overusing dubstep and it's going to fade once everyone gets tired of it.

Gravey and I spoke about it a bit. The demo's are less impressive then the first, and its got some limiting features and no dry samples... again. Kind of disappointing if you ask me. We both felt, why would anyone get this after the first, with electri6ty on the market.

It'll only die when Justin Bieber starts making dubstep.

It's not that. Mainstream dubstep all sounds the god damn same. All the mainstream stuff uses the same sounds, same beats (Bitcrushed "Yah yah yah" sound for instance). It's not that people are overdoing dubstep, it just needs to be done differently but since that mainstream sound sells, no one experiments. They just recycle the same old shit with a bit of a different spin on it.

Listen to tracks like Phace's "Teufelswerk" or Amon Tobin's "Hey Mr Tree". The style isn't revolving around wobbles or sounds that have been used time and time before. It's original and it works. Tracks like this should be more well known so people can hear that dubstep actually has some integrity.

I'm not trying to deny I broke the law and after calming down, I'm not as pissed off about the ticket. The thing is I didn't even get a chance to explain why I was at that speed (especially since it was my first offense) and the guy who gave me the ticket was a real d-bag about it too.

*Also as to why I was driving at that speed, I was just trying to pass some cars so I could get ahead and get onto my exit (which I missed anyways). I just didn't merge back over and slow down. So all in all mistake on my part, but it still sucks.

No, you were driving like a dangerous fuckwit. If you have an exit coming up you should be in the correct lane for it. Speeding up and passing in front of other cars, just to slow down and enter the exit lane is dangerous and unneeded. No explanation needed, either. I hope you got a citation for reckless driving.
