Spiritual healing
I was at the busstation and met a guy who i have alot of biblical debates with. This time i wasnt looking for any debates whatsoever and just wanted to have a man to man conversation.
While we where talking i told him i felt kinda sick and was planning to see the Doctor. And out of nowhere he told me,
That i should get on my knees and ask God to heal me. If you believe in spiritaul healing.
So i told him that God just gives you the strenght to handle sickness. But you cant always expect God to rapidly heal you.
He then proceeds by saying that that God is the Doctors of all Doctors and that if you pray to him you wont even need a doctor.
Now in my mind i say this guy is crazy. Is these types of Christians that make Christians like me look bad. I am sick and tired of people always expecting that God will always fix there problems with a little prayer and dancing. While they never live up to Gods rules and ideals.

I believe these people who say God will heal everything and make everything right in the end are just doing that to justify themselves not having the courage to take their lives in their own hands.
Honestly, if you take matters in your own hands and put effort in trying to achieve your goals, you'll have much better satisfaction from it anyway. Waiting for God to pave your way there isn't going to help much if you don't put in any effort yourself.
I don't have anything against people believing things, and I even encourage it if it keeps them sane/on right track and so forth, but I am annoyed when they use it as an excuse not to take responsibility for their own life.

It's corny, and cliched, but it's the truth, at least as I see it.
Whether God exists or not, I have NFI, but I'm guessing that many people who have difficulties with projection, and were raised in a religious family, will use God as a crutch. However, that's one of the main issues with religion...it's captivating and alluring to the mentally unsound, especially when they are young and impressionable.

I believe God exists and that he sure has the ability to get rid of a flu in a jiffy. But he doesnt have to do it, becuase by the way he build us. You can see that our bodies can pretty much fend for themselfs. We having things like white blood cells and so on.

REALLY SICK
I got so sick i actuall went blind for moment. Thats pretty wierd even when i turned on the lights i still couldnt see anything. After i sat for a while my vision came back. I am going to see a Doctor tommorow and see whats going on with me.

i apologize..i said no comment because i needed to say something or else i would have gone on and on about religion and i personal opinion about it. EXTREMELY passive aggressive...i know.
My family is filled with very very very religious people. almost cultish. i went to catholic school as a youngster. So yeah i have a bone to pick with catholicism and certain types of religious folk....
The spiritual healing thing hit a nerve hard.... all im going to say is im very glad i was running late for work or else the spewing of hatred would have been long winded and brutal on my part.

I have A LOT of deep seeded hatred for certain types of the faithful. i know that sounds extremely close minded. It IS extremely close minded of me, but yeah i just felt like i needed to get this out there.
Maybe another time ill explain why i have such pure concentrated disdain for religion.
