Well unless your hardddrive is literally fried, you have a decent shot at recovering your files. You should try to get your files on another computer. If it also fails on the other computer, then you might not have been so lucky. :(

Well i brought it to a computer shop ( which should be a wise decision right? ).
They decided it would have been a good idea to format it without letting me know.

This is why you should build your own PC... and get the necessary parts for what you plan on doing with it. That way if something goes wrong you know exactly what went wrong and either can fix it or buy another part of the same one.

I honestly don't have a clue how to build my own computer. I could ask forums and stuff but that beats the point wouldn't it?
Besides, i'm not entirerly sure but ownmade computers are generally more expensive aren't they? Well even if the parts were cheaper someone else would have to assemble it for me ;(.

- It's not that hard to build a PC, I'm going to build my self a gaming PC in july.

- No they are not more expensive. I'm getting all my parts under $1100, which is cheaper than gaming PC from like alienware or other companys like that.

Sounds promising. Do i have to buy certain parts what would work better for a producer computer? I already got a nice soundcard, but i'll geuss the rest is basically speed and memory.
