lol better mod tools- theyve been promising those for 3 years - its the eternal carrot that gives the audio mods hope and makes them continue to do their job. Personally I don't liek the thought of some potential rogue mod with the power to delete and user's songs he deems "unfit" - just leads to elitism potential in my mind..

monitors

I'm thinking of getting myself a second pair of monitors, but since you're just one, I could use you for mono-compability check. You're warmly welcome to hang inbetween my current pair of KRK Rokit 6. I hope you sound somewhat decent in the bass, i won't be connecting you to my sub. Also, bring a power-chord that fits your, uh, connection hole. <_< >_>

Thank you in advance, let me know if you have a hard time finding my apartment! <3

You realize how absolutely ridiculous it is to hear you say that, after having listened to some of your rants?

Are you hanging your current monitors with spansets? Cause that would be awesome.

not exactly sure if a "spanset" have to be with some kind of chain on the inside? never heard the word before, elxicon came up with nothing so all i have are images to go on...
anyway, first i got some thick rubber-bands, four on each monitor, and then jts just normal tiedown-rope-thingies, whatever they're called... the rubber bands help dampening vibrations from the speakers alot. good stuff.
the wooden-frames i've just cut myself, they have ironpoles to keep the monitor locked, and then the rubberbands hang in them. as soon as i got the monitors "airborne", the whole soundimage lifted to another level.

Sounds pretty sweet.

A span set is basically a ridiculously strong loop of nylon/whatever, used in rigging and hoisting applications. They crazy strong yo

it is, i strongly recommend getting your speakers airborne.

ah, ok. well that'd be overkill, they're not exactly heavy like an 18incher' :)

It makes sense. I mean, speakers are in the air in any proper venue, there's gotta be a reason for that.

Most definitely, I just couldn't quite tell from your picture.

I want to start making some song to upload here but i don't know what software to download. It has to be easy to use, free and be compatible with Windows Vista.
Does anybody know what I should download?

lol i havent posted anything elitist-worhy in like 2 years - can't coast on that road forever ;)

and due to my own angry-induced rants about deleting half the portal if i ever got the power to do so - I totally back up my own claim as a result.

as if I did have the power I would most likely totally do it - so why wouldn't someone else - right?

Ah, you'll get used to it Sessile :p
Anyway, when i signed up on Newgrounds i didn't really think about my username. So i made my username with the first letter of my first name (M) and the first letter of my name (H). Then, i simply put my age behind it and MH16 was born :p
However, my current name doesn't stand for anything, i just thought it looked cool. And how i made it up.. well, i searched for dinosaur names (because dinosaur names are awesome) and i found a dinosaur named 'Mussaurus'.
I changed that into 'Mussirus'.
