Yeah, i have a cello, but luckily i haven't had to move very far, cause that would be a bitch to have to pack, or have sent for somewhere else lol
First i need a good mic, new strings, AND to get better about playing it. I can play it, i'm just not that great =P

Didn't somebody try to get this organized not to long ago? I could have sworn I remember some people
discussing something like that. Oh well, can't recall it anyway...

So I was thinking of taking up a 3rd instrument besides the typical piano and guitar.
Instruments that come to mind:
Cello
Viola
English Horn
Oboe
Cello sounds the most fun to me, but thats just because I'm in love with Bach's cello suite # 1
Any suggestions? I think it would be best if I pick up a string or woodwind

yes they are, but i dont get goosebumps from all of them.
When it comes to bach I'm a bigger fan of his inventions. I swear the 15th invention sounds like a final fantasy song to me....
MAYBE BACH IS A FF THIEF
haha anyways so does cello sound like the way to go?
Those fuckerz are expensive though. My friend was telling me about his bow costing him 2k alone, and my piano teacher talks about bows in upwards towards 100k. Soooooo thats kinda scary, I havent even looked at cello prices

SWEET ASS JAM COMMIN UP FOR ME!!!!
So i finally scheduled some 4 hours practice studio time for me and a few awesome musician friends of mine to have a party jam.
ill be playing drums, and keyboards
my friend john will be playing guitar bass and synths.
my friend greg will be playing bass and guitar and maybe some drums.
And my friend mike will be playing guitar and drums.
we all can play multiple instruments very well!
between the 4 of us we will have 2 DAW's on laptops 5 keyboards 3 guitars 2 basses 1 drum machine 3 loopers a slew of guitar and bass effects 1 drumset 1 electronic drumset a bunch of percussive instruments and 4 mics. the studio mics everything for live recording and the sound quality is awesome. a few friends are coming to hang out while we jam and party.
its only gonna cost 106.50 for 4 hours of fun awesome time so its like 26.50 a head to jam out for 4 hours.
these three friends of mine are the best musicians i have ever jammed out with .. 2 of them are in the band i had with them that went defunct (because of the terrible trumpet player). we are all awesome jam musicians so we are gonna try this out and see if we can just schedule shows. show up and jam and get paid/ Its weird how this group of people can not play together for months on end and just get together and click so well and create a whole bunch of awesome sounding jam sets from NOTHING.. no practice or anything. it fuckin scary how good we sound when we get together. And its not drugs making me think that lol. some old recordings we have sound like professional jam bands that practice all the time.
last time we did this we did a crazy hour set , a 45 mins set and then a 1 and a half set all encompassing different types of jam from rock electronica dnb dub house techno ambient hippie jam and everything under the sun. Stuff along the lines of brothers past, biodiesel, and the disco biscuits. I really wish this group could form a band cause we would be unstoppable. only problem is the distance of the guitar player he lives in downtown brooklyn and the rest of us are spread out over staten island. It would be hard to get together even once a week with all our schedules and the fact that hes in a working band and a working audio engineer kinda takes the time away.
Im so fucking excited. ill definitely be posting up the audio and video on my youtube account or by another means.
SO FUCKING EXCITED!
This is exactly what i needed after being so sick for the past month. i need to beat the shit out a drumset and mash some keys and maybe even play some guitar.

Featured Aritist
Okay, this may be a silly question, but is there any actual reason people get featured artist? The person that is right now doesn't have a song over score 4. Is it to try to get those who seemed to have gotten 0-bombed the most? I didn't want to start a new thread since that would just be silly.

featured artists
you would think this type of thing would be in the FAQ's cause questions about the top 5 and featured artists etc pop up like every other day. I for one have no idea what the hell is going on with it still lol

You would think you'd know people are afraid of researching their questions before blindly posting in a forum.

It's just to bad that it seems that no one else here knows about this thread so that they wouldn't have to make new threads to ask simple questions lol

That wasn't even the question, silly B0UNC3.
He was referring to the featured artist, right under the top5, which randomly changes every week.

Don't forget weed and tulips.
Best place for either with the biggest tulip garden in the world and just the plain legality of the substance.
Botany of Desire is a great 2 hour free PBS movie all about that stuff. Also Apples which turned out to be crazy. Did you know that apple babies are mostly shit we would never eat? Like they have to genetically create one of the the same couple types of apple trees to get a kind we would eat.
