LOL of the day strikes back
So, what do you have in all music making programs ? Mac or PC, sequencing or recording, loop based or professional, all have a transport bar, right ?
I mean, that's a pretty basic function.
So, where's the LOL ?
The LOL is into making a VST transport bar and ask 40$ for it.
Is this real ? Yes it is !

I'm no doctor, but that sounds pretty serious, especially if it's persisted for a week. You should probably go to a doctor and find out if you've caused real physical damage.

The ear damage is in almost all cases a permanent damage. If that's a tinnitus or a loss of high frequencies doesn't really matter, it's a permanent loss. So, say "thanks" to that friends of yours for the beautiful gift suitable for a musician.
Better go to a doctor and always wear protection (condoms for sex, ear plugs for loud sounds).
Maybe in several days the bad sound will go away but I'm pretty sure that you lost several decibels in hi frequency range.
Also, when you mix in headphones, check the volume and when you feel right, push it down a bit, just to keep it safe.

Dubstep + mind altering substances = win
If you're not yet an experienced user of the herb, try smoking some and just having a jam. I had some intensely creative experiences with the mary jane, but as you smoke moar and moar of it, the desireable effects diminish, in my experience anyway.
