ALSO...

Please allow me to remind everyone that +1postcount spamming and offtopic-ing this thread isn't a smart thing to do if we want this place to stay open either.
I'm not saying you guys shouldn't have fun and so on, but try to not act out in a crappy pointless +1ish way. If you girls wanna cyber-sex each other up the gay way and start out with a pillowfight dressed up in jams, that's all fine by me. I'm not homophobic in any way, hell I don't even give a shit if you gurls wanna screw horses and sheeps.

But do NOT derail this thread trying to lick each others marshmallows, or you will face the consequences.

We don't have to nazi our way around everything in this thread, some of the BBS-rules apply more in general-forum than any other subforum. But I just locked the lounge a few hours in a soft way, to remind everyone that we have rules and that we at least should try to follow them. If you think that only applied to the flameish attitude that was being spread, you're mistaken.
We saw the last lounge fall due to spam, statwhoring, flaming etc.

I personally don't wish to moderate a place that constantly gets fucked up and needs to be babysut every hour. I'm pretty sure that anyone in my shoes would feel the same, given the history of the previous lounge.

And if no mod happen to be around for a day or two, don't think that you can get away with shit just because some time have gone by. There is no problem with banning somone in retrospect.

So, beehive. >:(

Who knows what retarded funny stuff you could make when using such samples in a song. Even better if you apply effects on them.

Someone once made a hardcore remix of the viral video (I think that's the correct term) "Charlie bit me, which resulted in this. Which I giggled at.

*suddenly.. ride of the valkyrie starts to play...

From the distance a giant galleon is seen being pushed forward onto land by thousands of sla.. people..that enjoy working for calamaistr.

On the bow stands in grand posture the man himself, with a blush on his cheeks and a funny hat (of the manly kind) the size of poland. (or maybe a bit smaller)

Pillows!

A large number of pillow filled cannons slides out of the galleon's starboard..
And without warning they shoot toward the population of the audio forum lounge.

Thousands of pillows, thousands of them.

Breaking the chatter for a second: Someone the EW forums I've known for a while decided to do a mock re-score of a scene from Fantasia 2000. All virtual orchestra. Really damned good work.

Actually makes me want to re-visit some of my techniques as my stuff isn't that complicated.

Nathan, that was awesome! I really would like to get into composing some day, but I fear that I lack the theoretical and techincal expertise. Is it really as difficult as I'm assuming that it is? It probably is.

Anyway, synths:

I just programmed one of the best sounding reeses I've ever heard into my alpha juno. I didn't think it was possible, but then again, I guess it's what some of the old dnb and rave guys were using back in the day, so who knows? Anyway it sounds amazing, so I'm even happier that I have it now.

Also discovered that my Micro Q takes a massive piss (IMHO) all over the Virus B for trance pads, stabs and layers. So I'm incredibly happy that I decided to go for the Micro Q instead of the Virus :)

I might actually hold off buying more gear for a while. Unless a reasonably priced AN1X pops up of course :P

That... was beautiful. Both the video and the complementing music. That guy knows his stuff. (As do you on that note :p)
Such music makes every little project I've ever started feel so insignificant. Given, it's a total other genre, but still..

Juuuuuuuuuuuust a bit late on that one. I can say the same for myself though, i've missed out on 2 or so pages.

Sucks that I can't purposely +1 post now. Maybe if Newgrounds had a feature to make your post not count or something...

Man... The composition fit very well with the visuals... I wish I had the money to fork over for that VST he was using. I mean the only instrument that sounded close to being unrealistic was when the violin played a solo. =3
