Mainstream Prediction
I predict a mass genocide of the overly popular Mainstream crap that is being thrown out into every genre. And from the ashes shall come better, stronger music, that will stand the test of time. =3

i dont think this will happen, great music will just become more and more underground and will be near impossible to find

Im not sure exactly when the whole reg thing transgressed from just people that come here all the time to some sort of elitist secret society - I mean sure I probably didn't help my my whole certified elite thing but really that was more or less incentive for people to actually stick around the audio portal and invest into it as a community. And of coruse the rape thing was always just for the lulz.
I think some cretain individuals in here need to pull their heads out of their asses every now and then..

yes, yes you are. great music has always been "underground" but never impossible to find. just follow your ears.
besides, with online portals like newgrounds, there will always be a forum for new and exciting music.

I don't know if NG is the best example, considering the vast range of quality that gets submitted every day. But I agree; my mother used to crank up the Top 40's station at home, and I would sit upstairs and listen to my favorite artists on this website because their music juts sounded so much better...
Also, I love your house loops, please make more thanks

I guess I just can't fathom why you would frequent a community just to try to talk down to people who frequented it before you showed up.

He really tries to make this place his lounge, but he's failing at that, so he gets all mad then calls us annoying.

My mom just listened to the Beatles all the time, and my dad, any music from the 60s-90s, sans hip-hop (though he likes Gorillaz), so I've kinda just grown up liking a whole lot of music.
My dad has a pretty impressive record collection, and I was really surprised by the range of music he listened when he was younger...
He has Peter Frampton, Black Sabbath, experimental synth music from Europe, classical, Frank Zappa, Billy Joel and Elton John, Coltrane, Kansas, The Doors... and a whole lot of other stuff from folks I've never heard of.
Needless to say, I was pretty impressed.
I think we take our parents' music (and their musical tastes) for granted too much, often. It's easy to fall into the "Ew, they listened to it, it must be shitty and old fashioned!" mentality, which is just retarded.
Oh, and every person I've ever met who hates the Beatles have been just plain faggots.

First of i like the reg idea becuase it feels like your in a wierd but fun online game where you have to level up and post alot to achieve a High Reg Level.
Also believe it or not because of the regs the forum becomes a more active and fun! So i dont mind the Elitist idea thing :P
Chucks im the one who invented that Elite user sig remember?
Music Loving
Also i love the songs from the 80's and 90's they just have this lovley feeling to them! Reminds me of the good old days :P

Hey guys, is it okay if I post something here about NG music and it's quality?
I wrote it ALL out, I just need clearance since this lounge isn't open for discussion of audio for alot of time.

I say you better keep it to your news, as here, it will probably cause another flamefest, which is the last we want. Personal opinions are something highly inflamable.

Sure there are. They're just all highly skilled with photoshop nowadays and tend to look prettier onscreen than off... ;)
Met this one filipino chick a few years back who looked hot as hell. I thought she was this pale-skinned spanish-looking beauty. Dude, she was -so- dark in person. Now, I've nothing against the colour of people's skins. But false advertisement just sucks. :P
Ah well, at least she hadn't used the nudge tool to make herself look skinnier. :P lol, ah, the internet.

Not being into girls (no pun intended) doesn't directly mean you're gay. It sounds to me like you're asexual.
