Morrowind vs. Oblivion
Not meaning to start a "dis gaym iz teh betterz" bashing, but just thought I should mention this. ;D
I've started playing Oblivion (2nd time) yesterday because nostalgia for Morrowind came over me, and well, as I mentioned before, I promised never to play it again.

I just got really disappointed (again) with the obvious lack of... well, story. I actually forgot why I didn't like it so much the first time. I mean, Morrowind had a really complex main plot, not to mention the side-quests, while Oblivion's main plot can be summed up in about three sentences.
Bethesda spent waaaay to much time on making a really sexy game engine, and has ignored the importance of a good plot (which actually makes no sense, as the programming team aren't the same people as the writers for the storyline). I guess they just thought that the Havok physics engine would pull the game through (and it did, commercially - it was declared "Game of the Year", right?), but to a person who has played any older installment in the series (especially Morrowind), that isn't enough.
So yeah, to me, Morrowind > Oblivion. And that is an understatement.
