Yes he is a douchebag.

Yes one his albums was full of Autotune.

But lets be real. His production skill is amazing. Sampling is not easy. Some think its just "Oh yea steal some stuff and mix it together, its soo eassy". Its not.

All the beats he make are different, they have really cool intricacies that separate them from other hip-hop songs.

Btw, you guys think "rap" is hip-hop. it's not.

As long as it doesnt go about personal problems, women shaking their genitals, cars pistols chickin and beer, your new piece of iron in your mouth with your name on it, or 'making money because its so gangsta' then i agree rap music can be good.

Opgezwolle for instance is a good example of rap in the good sense. (yes thats dutch, so what)

Hiphop is rap?

Yeah i've seen some real horrible assumptions over the years, but the think hiphop is rap? I may be a hypocrite though :C

I can tolerate hiphop due to the creativity, unlike rap where it's a shitload of TR808. hiphop's lyrics vary from certain things, rap is usually about bitches and money and cars and getting high and drunk and negros (cept its the bad word)

And the last reason of difference imo, the repetition in Hiphop is usually minimal, whist rap is so repetitive it makes me want to drive my head into a brick wall.

I hope I was accurate enough, I probably failed though.

Dude, serious props to you. Hang in there! I've had some friends get pretty fucked up already, they're only late 20s, but they chain smoke like no one's business. It's not easy to break the habit, but it's worth it.

I think rap and hiphop is pretty much the same genre, you have many styles within that genre anyway.
But what makes you want to drive your head into a telephone booth, concrete floor or hotel sink is the commercial crap rap, cause that is a whole world about 'money' 'competition about who has the most jewelry around their penis' and 'women degrading themselves into streetwhores on television'

Its a shame i cant give any english examples of good rap though, ive known some but i dont really listen to any radio nor tv, i usually just listen to bach or fauré for technical inspiration.

I don't know, all of the real-life rappers I know don't like him, and it's not because of the whole "He's popular, we're not" stupid stuff. They really don't like him a lot in a musical sense.

I stopped cold turkey both pot and normal smoking around 6 years ago, 2 years later i did start smoking pot again though, because i met a girl who i usd to know in a period i smoked pot and addictions are always hardest on you when you get back in certain situations of a period when you were addiction.

One month later i quitted cold turkey again and since i havent smoked in other words i am clean now 4 years again and its easy to quit, just dont try to smoke less or use stupid nicotine gum, you're not addicted to the smoke you are addicted to the nicotine so just dont smoke and the addiction will go away.

I also stopped drinking that way.
