Music Festivals, Underground Sound 5, finally home... etc.

I'm finally back from a week of music festivalness.

I went to Cruefest 2 in St. Louis last Tuesday... which was awesome.. but I think I mentioned that already...

Much better though.. was where I was from Friday through Sunday.

Underground Sound 5.

It's a massive rave. The only massive in the Midwest really. Thousands of people camping outdoors at this campground in the middle of nowhere. (It's called Camp Zoe. Normally they have Schwagstocks there... which are basically hippie fests.. still awesome)

Anyway though... FUCKING HUGE. There were two main stages, 4 or so smaller stages called sound camps, crazy lights, the clearest stream I've ever seen in my life, a city of tents... all sorts of party favors..

Oh yeah... RETARDED MASSIVE EPIC FUCKING LAZORRZZ. The lasers on the main stage were so awesome they could cover the night sky with a blanket of green.. and they could also draw on the trees behind the field where people were dancing.

And of course the music. All sorts of electronic music was to be heard. Electrohouse, dubstep, psytrance, trance, drum and bass, hard house, hardstyle, industrial, chill, ambient, liquid funk, minimal... really.. it was almost ridiculous.

There were tons of DJs there, some I knew personally, a bunch from all over though.. also.. a few big names.

Notably, Bassnectar. He probably did the best out of anyone there.

Here's a short video a friend took of Bassnectar's set Saturday night.

The video really doesn't do it enough justice though.

Hopefully my girlfriend's pictures turn out pretty good.. those will hopefully be uploaded soon as well.

My vent of the week

Man what a week. Alot of wierd and hard stuff has been happening to me latley. First of all the girl i used to like is now getting married to her ex-boyfriend. Wich i should have suspected i mean. First when we first met. It felt as if she was on to me. And suddenly out of nowhere she started to act distent. I cant go into much detail but if i summurize it i feel like im being stabbed right in the heart and it hurts alot...

Man in times like this i wish i was gay...

But then somthing wierd happen a girl came to we talked and she asked me my email adress and i asked her mobile phone number it seems like something could come from this. I dont know i dont want to go thru that proces again.

I guess if i want to have the good things in life i have to take bad.

Yeah, atleast i have someone who have shown intrest. You know im usaully a very cheerfull person. All my friends like having me around simply because im nice in company. But when im alone i think way to much negitive thaughts. Sometimes i get depressed for no reason at all. So i explained this to a good friend of mine, and he told me that in a way i have evreything and still am depressed! Points out that there is something missing in my life. And you guessed it a partner but i think thats wierd i dont whant to feel chained to someone. There still things i want to do while im single!

That would be correct. This is the second incarnation of this thread. The original dated back to 2003 I believe.
