Know this is a day old. But I've been hooked on records since hearing one for the first time, and that was after I'd gone from CD's to mp3's.

A clean, well cared for record lasts a long ass time (parents have 45+ year old ones that work fine). And they sound awesome to me. It sounds more, "live".

But it's a personal thing, I don't think you can leave it to numbers or statistics. Some people just like how an mp3 sounds I guess. FLAC is cool too. But I think if it were successful, we'd all be listening to Super Audio CD's.

There's always an illusion to the veterans that the "good old days were best and they don't make things like they used to". Then the kids come around and "change everything." It's a cycle. COOOKING OVENS AND MICROWAVES

i really wish i had a toester oven. i LOVE those things .. they make all food hot crispy and warm. Plus you never need to use your oven if you have one. The trick is to get 2 of them.. one really efin huge one and a smaller one for english muffin pizzas and toast. you can acctually make a full pulled pork shoulder in a toaster oven. Microwaves are ok for heating things up but i really hate when i am heating up soup and the bowl is 10,000 times hotter than the lukewarm soup.

BTW i have a killer recipe for a pulled pork shoulder so you can make pulled pork tacos. YUM!

well since you get off around 330 i can show up early and work my 8 and get off at 3. maybe go fer some drinks at a local hole in the wall or something. yes of we are gonna chill it would have to be after work cause while im working i dont stop .. i barely even take a lunch break. Basically my adrenaline pumps for 8 hours straight....and i can come off as a psycho during those 8 hours hahaha

FL Studio 8.5 BETA 5

I downloaded it today and the first thing I noticed is that they;ve added a ton of samples in the bundle. Decent ones. A few drum kits, piano samples, guitars, saxophone, trombone, some that I could actually see myself using from time to time. Personally, I think they've added these samples in retaliation to Native Instrument's Maschine, and its hefty sample library. I'm interested to see what Image-Line has got set for their release of FL 9.

That's life. In my opinion, we clean up well compared to this first bunch because of the individuals that sit in between the two extremes and take the best from both worlds.

Improvements come from anyone smart enough to notice a problem and think up a solution. Nothing changes per generation other then the social scene. Only a fraction of what we ever suggest gets used, IF someone like Ruckie or Denvish felt strongly enough to personally tell the admins.

But I'm glad to see that the audio forum is able to pull in all kinds of intelligent folks.
