I mean look at that - its goes up, down, then up again.. I always thought voting power was consistant, or at least decreased the more votes you get ... but.. apparently not!

its weird though - back in 2004 my brother was granted the same power in the audio portal - could chain-vote.

Needless to say the charts were devestated.

personally i would like to see chron just mod for one day.. i know it would be a shit-storm but a fun to watch shit-storm at worst

The mods on newgrounds would rather slit their own wrists than give me that power believe me.

And I would be a FINE mod - regardless of what everyone thinks I would not be another eyelovepoozy.

as for "the power" - I have a sneakign suspicion that that wiped that little power out in the last update they did like an hour ago.. cuz SO FAR i cant seem to do it nemore.. but it was fun while it lasted! :P

as for in the old days - glitch in the system - didnt log votes properly for one user I guess - I dunno - basically newgrounds has a major glitch that it will register every click you make on the voting panel before the content - whether it be audio, or art - is loaded.

but now both load like instantly, or before the voting panel - but ya - otherwise - you can log as many votes as possible and it will still peg you down as "one" vote.. even tho the score has gone up (or down) monumentally.

Isn't exploiting a bug like this kind of violating site rules?

oh and i've learned that 4 votes is the max I can do - anything over that and the voting thing just gets stuck and goes nuts.. so I guess my godliness IS limited.. that or I just havent gotten lucky above 4 yet :P

it probably would be if I was using it to mass zero people - but I am using it to five people I like - and isnt it everyones goal to see the people they like go up the most?

Which I guess is exactly my point. Even though you're voting up, you're using a glitch in the system to give yourself more say than the next guy. It's still a violation of the way things are SUPPOSED to work. So... even having positive intentions, in this case, seems to be negative because you're undermining a system that's supposed to work in a specific fashion.

I mean, I personally don't care much, but a site administrator might well have a different view.

*shrugs* there have been scattered issues like this since the audio portal began - I don't see it being an issue - if they want to fix it all they have to do is make the art load before the voting strip - that eliminates the bug - at least,, it did for the audio portal.

besides - I still have a hard time believing it's just me that can do it. I am sure in due time they will wrinkle out all the bugs in the art portal - I had one today where I submitetd a piece and immediately it told me my art had been deleted - even tho its still there and I cant delete it even if i wanted to haha..

its a wild and crazy time in the art portal these days - where it seems to be down more than its up :P

I reported the glitch to bob - we'll see what he says. I mean its fun and all - but you're right - its not natural - if he can't do anything about it though It's not gonna stop me from doing it :P

I propose an idea where if you get banned from the audioportal you can no longer view or make posts on the audio forum and it just gives them a nice message.

Can you tell I'm tired of I'm banned threads yet?
