Battlestar Galactica

I cannot get enough of this show. I'm watching it through for the second time, and it's still fantastic.

I'm trying out Ableton Live 9 Beta right now, and I instantly fell in love with Live. Again. This is just insane. I can hum in a melody and convert it to midi notes within seconds, or beatbox and convert it to notes, and it is very accurate. Plus great new effects.

I listen to my headphones at 20% volume. Sometimes I put it on 15%
I never understood why anyone needed anything loud.

I prefer my music louder, but I also often change the volume while I make music, helps to prevent fatigue.. at least for me. If I work on a bass for example, I need some volume to get it right, especially below 40 hz.

It's all personal preference.

It's simple. There are people who want to damage their ears, and then there's people that don't.

Why do think all the EDM is completely brickwalled nowadays?

It's funny because 69 is the largest number you can work out the factorial of in a standard Casio calculator.

Would it be cool to see who favorited a specific song of yours? I tend to think people favorite individual songs more often than the actual artists. iCompositions does this, as well as show who downloaded your song if they're signed up to the site. Just a small idea that I think would be neat.

Anyways...

Im new to the forum, so, Hi.

I'm quite familiar with NewGrounds and I always thought animations and parodies were awesome so I got flash and ever since I have been learning about graphics on my own.

I was requested to do backdrops for my school's annual soiree and they were displayed on a big ass LED matrix screen. From then I ended up learning Photoshop and After effects. I closely worked with Step as we have been attending the same school for years and he's very talented.

I also had to buy a graphics tablet c: I got all my basics from my art classes in high school/ secondary school and I also film for voluntary work.

Most of the stuff I used is self though. Recently I got FL studio and Omnisphere, so yeah now Ima teach myself musiks too c:

That's one hell of a starting point. I only got Omnisphere recently, and I've been writing music for like... a decade.

True, though I'm pretty clueless with doing music production with FL, most technical terms are universal and I have experience with non virtual video mixers, compressors and other equipment. Besides ever since Step showed me the power of omnisphere I couldn't resist not having it and its more than enough at this stage and it has a lot of parameters to tweak so more exposure I guess.

On the other hand, buying a professional graphics tablet after a couple of digital paintings was extremely out of necessity as It speeds the artistic process and makes life easier, something I could use with such a strict deadline.
