Work / life is good

Either I'm in a really pretty good job now or I was in a pretty shit job before, but man, am I enjoying myself. I get to work on stuff that will be seen by millions, with a small but skilled and well organized team, all the while listening to good electronic music without ads for free.

Working from home also means I can just pop out to the gym in the morning and work a bit later into the evening. It also means I can work 10 hours a day for two day and relax a bit more towards the end of the week. Freedom, but still having money.

The shitty thing is that I can't show you guys the exciting stuff I'm working on :C

Also omg it's a Quarl

I have a Casio CTK 720 MIDI controller. It was a hand me down but it should get the job done, but the real question is how do I get it to my computer. It's USB but it's using a rather large USB port. Also I dont know if it needs drivers installed or if I can just plug in and go.
Still...Be jelly I guess :(

So pissed off right now. Ordered Borderlands 2 from EBGames online, and decided to go regular instead of express to save money. I put in the order on Sunday, and they posted it from Queensland late Tuesday! It's now Friday and it's past the courier's time in my area. I have to wait over a week for a video game to arrive from a highly acclaimed company! That's the last fucking time I go regular postage.

EBGames sucks. Surprise!

Would've been better off just going into the store... their online shipping sucks hardcore monkey nuts and they'll do just about anything to screw you over.

Hmmm... it's a shame GAME closed down. Their online store was great for me. At least EBGames deliver when it comes to pre-orders.

Due to work, I thought I'd get it quicker as I would not have had a chance to go into EBGames till the weekend. Though, the weekend will pass and I will be left without Borderlands 2...

I hope this game is actually worth it.

If you love loot whoring and RPG leveling mechanics mixed with twitch FPS action, then it's totally worth it. I played the first game to death, and I have quite a blast with the second.

I wouldn't really label it as twitch FPS, but the game is definitely awesome as all hell, it even has 100 times the WUB WUB. However Claptrap is still as annoying as ever, but at least he's still funny. Lol.

So at quarter past 6 in the evening last night, the courier delivered Borderlands 2. She said she went home, and then realised she had forgotten to deliver a parcel (mine), so she drove to my place after hours to deliver it. Legend.

And Borderlands 2 fucking ROCKS!!! I started by playing co-op with my friend and I absolutely love it. The action is great, the guns are great (different recoils, scopes), the graphics are fantastic and I get no lag at all. Love it.

Love Majora's Mask. Though I know a lot of people who hated that game.

And way off topic after 2 days of boxing with FLS I finally got my Toontrack Superior 2 to play fair... [Insert condescending name here] was not wanting to share the love with FLS. Lol

Looks pretty cool. You'll probably need some sort of cable that looks like the pic I posted below (excuse the bad picture quality). I think it's called a USB A to B cable or something but don't quote me on it.

Also if your MIDI keyboard came with a disc it needs driver installation. Otherwise it probably doesn't and it's plug and play. That's how my keyboard is anyway.

Anyway if, when you plug it in, it says that the driver hasn't been installed or nothing happens, then I'm sure you'll be able to find it somewhere on the Internet.

You don't seem to have gone through the Newcomer Ritual yet. Don't worry, it's simple. You have to do it though - it's the law, sorry. Just click here and follow the instructions and you're good to go.

Unfortunately for you, I have the ability to hover over a link to see where it leads! Nice try!

Water that dried up inspiration until it blooms again! : D

No, but seriously. When I'm out of ideas, I focus on something I LIKE and try to do something based off that. I don't know how to make songs, but when I cover songs, that's what I focus on.

I start broad and narrow it down until I have a thing I wanna do.

Hope this helps. xD Not exactly a great advice giver, as you can see.
