OMFG it's teh Laqur and he is back! How have you been, mate?

So yeah guys, probably you know that I get the opportunity to travel a lot, due to my father's profession. Now I am visiting him in Yerevan, Armenia and this place seems pretty cool. It's only my first day, so I didn't get a chance to look around too much. The city isn't too big, but the population is over one million. Many people speak Russian, because of the USSR, herp, so I feel pretty comfortable.

The square in front of the hotel has a beautiful fountain, and in the evening local music is being played live. I'm excited to see it.

Soooooo, anything new?

Anyone ever heard of cry, he does game commentary and has played with pewdiepie, though I like cry a fair bit more.

On corpse party pt 16 he used my song anxiety attack at the very end, since my plays in a day have already went up 10% in a day, I've had bandcamp for 2 years. It's awesome^^

Is it just me, or NG's metal community is reviving massively??? 10 month ago, we barely could hear anything, and today it's the 5th metal song in a row I heard on the portal.

I hear if you go to the heavy metal section of the audio portal, there's a lot of metal there. I think that's just a silly rumor though.

olololol, ralq. Been ok. summer was hard as fuck. My parents kicked me out at the beginning of the summer so I had to crash with my GF for a few months. My laptop broke at the same time so I had no means to produce all fucking summer. That also is a huge reason why I havn't been around. Without a computer I completely stopped going online. I had a korg M1 so I played plenty of keyboard. I recently moved back in to my parents house and inherited an old computer from Jimmy Buffet/ bought reason 6. I'm talking to a label about signing some stuff. I actually just signed off one of my Laqur tracks Tritones. The labels I'm working with are section 8 and plush.

It's weird how positive/negative things have been since I stopped internetting. There's very little middle ground other than the fact that my cat is doing okay.

That's freaking awesome. I've always wanted to experience Russia. I respect the fuck out of it's history. Let me know how the music is! As I understand it, Russian music evolved polar to the rest of Europe in regards to the 12 tone system. Major/minor role reversals. meow.

Oh hey, the thing I chose to parody for my user name that became my alias when I was 14.
I play les paul with an 85EMG, I would love to have a PRS, but they're so expenive, but so nice on the hands. Some strats are awesome, there was this heavily modded japstrat I saw at a shop that was amazing.
(pic is beofre I changed the nut and bridge pickup to an 85.

But 110 dollars for a Kirk Hammett stratocaster isn't bad, right?

Work / life is good

Either I'm in a really pretty good job now or I was in a pretty shit job before, but man, am I enjoying myself. I get to work on stuff that will be seen by millions, with a small but skilled and well organized team, all the while listening to good electronic music without ads for free.

Working from home also means I can just pop out to the gym in the morning and work a bit later into the evening. It also means I can work 10 hours a day for two day and relax a bit more towards the end of the week. Freedom, but still having money.

The shitty thing is that I can't show you guys the exciting stuff I'm working on :C

Also omg it's a Quarl

I have a Casio CTK 720 MIDI controller. It was a hand me down but it should get the job done, but the real question is how do I get it to my computer. It's USB but it's using a rather large USB port. Also I dont know if it needs drivers installed or if I can just plug in and go.
Still...Be jelly I guess :(

So pissed off right now. Ordered Borderlands 2 from EBGames online, and decided to go regular instead of express to save money. I put in the order on Sunday, and they posted it from Queensland late Tuesday! It's now Friday and it's past the courier's time in my area. I have to wait over a week for a video game to arrive from a highly acclaimed company! That's the last fucking time I go regular postage.

Would've been better off just going into the store... their online shipping sucks hardcore monkey nuts and they'll do just about anything to screw you over.

Hmmm... it's a shame GAME closed down. Their online store was great for me. At least EBGames deliver when it comes to pre-orders.

Due to work, I thought I'd get it quicker as I would not have had a chance to go into EBGames till the weekend. Though, the weekend will pass and I will be left without Borderlands 2...

I hope this game is actually worth it.

If you love loot whoring and RPG leveling mechanics mixed with twitch FPS action, then it's totally worth it. I played the first game to death, and I have quite a blast with the second.

I wouldn't really label it as twitch FPS, but the game is definitely awesome as all hell, it even has 100 times the WUB WUB. However Claptrap is still as annoying as ever, but at least he's still funny. Lol.

<UNRAGE>
So at quarter past 6 in the evening last night, the courier delivered Borderlands 2. She said she went home, and then realised she had forgotten to deliver a parcel (mine), so she drove to my place after hours to deliver it. Legend.

And Borderlands 2 fucking ROCKS!!! I started by playing co-op with my friend and I absolutely love it. The action is great, the guns are great (different recoils, scopes), the graphics are fantastic and I get no lag at all. Love it.
