So yeah, I've been listening to a few remaked songs on NG, and I've recently noticed that some remakes labelled themselves as 'Remix' while others labelled themselves under the term 'Cover'.

My question is, is there anything different between those two terms? Or is it exactly the same, and just a different way of calling something a remix?

I thought remix is a term used for electronic music, while cover is more...uh, non/less electronic music.

Remix = production containing stems from original production.

Cover = production containing all original recorded material.

fucking mindless zombies saying justin bieber is better than deadmau5.

let's see... deadmau5 didn't need to become a sell out to gain his fanbase and while he's getting more popular by the day, he still writes whatever shit he wants!

bieber on the other hand.. is a sell out and writes terrible songs for little screaming girls.

Yo sequenced, since I have your attention here, do you have a reliable form of transportation, or a way to get to providence, RI if we were to host a massive label launch party? let me know how far that would be and if needed I can arrange for overnight stay at a hotel if we decide to do that down the road.

Also bitches,

I need a few more deep / tech / dub electro wtf artists to sign to the label. PM me unreleased music

I always thought a cover was your whack at it, trying to get as close as possible to the original, while a remix is trying to change the song in whatever way you choose.

Id say Cover= Reproduction of the original using original stems.

I FELT THE DEATH

Kinda. I'm studying Medicine and today we got our first practice with the human body. On real. Dead. Bodies.
It's kinda not what you expect if you compare it to the illustrations in your average biology book. Everything in the (dead) human body is either gray or very dark red, except for the fat (which is yellow as fuck) and the gallbladder which is dark green. Also the dead liver is hard as stone, while normally a liver is pretty weak.
This was probably the most interesting thing I've ever done in school/university. It's kind of sad that some people in my class left because they either felt sick or started crying because they couldn't hande it.

I got to shoot a desert eagle in my high school forensic science class... Maybe I can provide you with fresh product.

The next year they got rid of the class because apparently putting loaded guns in the hands of high school kids is dangerous.

During deer season, if you were to search the cars in my highschool parking lot, half of them would have shot guns in half of them.

In my house there's about 3, 10/12/20 guage. And about 4 rifles.
