The US military provides way more benefits than those of the Australian army.

Can you transfer your college money to relatives? Probably not.

Do you have access to special "military only" hotels at massive fucking discount? Probably not.

Can you fly anywhere you want in the world for free? Probably not.

my friend is a marine and went to iraq.. he never said ANYTHING like that .. pretty much you get killed and your dead and the state pays for your funeral... that is all

The military has a very nice life insurance policy for it's service members.

I'm in Special Forces and it is more fun for me because I fight for the EU. This means that I get access to better weapons and more advanced weaponry than the US!!
