Do you lurk or post more?

I'm more of a lurker than a poster, I read threads and think to myself;
"Hmmm, interesting, this topic is incredibly shit."
Then I don't post, so I have gotten into the habit of lurking the forums, checking out what everyone is talking about and discussing.

To no surprise though, you are all talking about shite all, and there are about 1 out of 10 topics that are actually post worthy, i'm just wondering if anyone else just browses the BBS most the time rather than posting?

More and more often whenever i feel i should post in a topic i just stare at the post creation screen thinking of stuff for a couple of minutes before i realize i have nothing to say and continue lurking.

I pretty much never lurk. When I click on a thread I have every intention of replying simply from reading the title. Unless, of course, the title is drastically misleading and I have nothing to post which won't earn me a ban. But then there's the fairly-frequent situation where I'll ignore the risk and post anyway.

Yeah, pretty much the same here. I don't visit the BBS as often as I used to and when I do I usually end up not posting since I can't figure out anything actually productive and original to be posted, a concept that's unfamiliar for most of the BBS.

I mostly lurk, particularly in the General forum. I'm the guy that's always there but no one ever sees. Most of the time, I'll actually click the reply button and type out a post. It's then a decision for me as to whether I should click the 'Post it!' button. Oftentimes, I'll just click the back button a couple of times and move onto the next thread. I sort of filter my posts to ensure a reasonable quality.

I'm the same way right now. It's not that I post a ton as it is, but I just gave up on posting and starting lurking around.
It kinda feels like I'm maturing and this place isn't. Not that I'm counting on this place to mature.

Pretty much this. If I actually posted in every thread I looked at I would have at least 5,000 posts by now.
