So Best Buy's buy 2 get 1 free deal ended yesterday, but I'm gonna go in there and pull off the customer is always right bullshit and buy DJ Hero, Borderlands and Tekken 6 tomorrow.

I don't really have much money to spare at the moment and normally would never buy games at full price, but DJ Hero just looks like fun and I might as well take advantage of the (now expired) deal before it's too late. I'd think they'd still let me get away with it at least for tomorrow. Should they decide to be shitty with me I just won't get anything; hopefully there's no arguing to be done, I hate harassing cashiers.

So far I'm really enjoying Borderlands, although I don't think I'm that far yet. Doing a bunch of random missions in and around the Arid Badlands. Got a number of achievements but I'm pissed off because the Pyro achievement hasn't unlocked and I've got 200+ fire weapon kills.

Just broke 11,000G all thanks to LEGO Batman.

Good fun, although for a kid's game the achievements aren't as generous as you would think. You only get 25G for every FIVE missions you complete.

I've been playing Prototype all day so far and went from having 70G in it to having 130G.

Believe it or not, you're quite right. I've completed all the Hero missions, now I'm just free playing for teh achievements. They're rather simple actually.

I just got that little bitch Robin to do 20 back-flips for an easy achievement - I totally checked him out when he did em'.

I don't even go for those achievements unless I know I can even them out on the same game. I could put in bullet witch and get a 99, and forza 2 for a few 1's and 2's or something, but am against it.

Well that hunk of beef Makeshift suggested The Dishwasher, which has an 8G achievement that I like the look of.

Unless you've already got it, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 has three achievements that end in 2's.

My rental ended today. It was more of the same (as it should be) but I'm just not ready for it right now; I'm still burned out from finishing off what was left of my Forza 2 file. With that said I may buy it in a few months when it drops in price, it's still a great game.

Finally got the last goddamn LEGO Star Wars achievement. That makes six games that I've clocked to 1000/1000 GS.

I played the demo; wasn't impressed at all. Then had a laugh about it when they severely slashed the price in my local store a few months after it was released. Just like they did with Turning Point and The Club.

Fracture has a pretty sweet concept. Having tried the demo, and playing it for a bit at my local Gametraders, it was awesome in short bits. It does seem like the sort of thing that gets old fast when repeated consistently.

All of which are pretty ordinary I assume. Fracture's shit when you first play it, its just one of those games grow on you the more you play it and get used to it. Achievements easy anyway if you want to wrestle with its campaign.

Toward the end its pretty fun because you have to create different means of killing the enemies and the environments are actually pretty destructive. Makes it interesting anyway, the 'underground' levels are frustratingly shit.
