Most of the time I finish 2 - 3 books before the project so I have my choice of what to do the report on. Any one have any suggestions on what book I should read.

Read American Psycho by Bret Easton-Ellis.

Well as soon as we get the money to put them on my book shelf you can read them. Or there is this magical place called the Library and they let you borrow there books for free.

Atm, I've been reading 1984, and some of Allan Poe works. Here a little poem which I consider my favorite I've created. And as a note, if any of you trying to pass this off as your work, i have copyrighted it ^^.

The Feeling Through Music

Music is a language, one's thoughts through beats,
The power of words is sometimes too strong,
And lyrics are censored.

It is wisdom that people seek,
Untill the end of time.
What would life be without music?

The fall of music will be forever lost.
Life will go on, but our soul will have no reason to live.
Without the smoothness of beats and rhymes.

When children hit the first chord, they become happy.
When a maestro fills a theater with music, he becomes happy.
When the elderly hear music from their time, they are reminded of times when they were happy.

Music is inspiring, intellectual,
Wonderful, creative, brilliant.
Music makes us think.

I play the music. I enjoy the music. I create the music.
Music makes you cry, happy, mad, excited.
All these things make music wonderful.

That's why I love it.

Great poem, I can really relate to that. I create music and love music and know how it can change your mood. It does remind you of things and it can boost the mind to new heights. Really wonderful.

Both Poe and Orwell are excellent! As for 1984, thats a really awesome book, quite scary to think if we ever had a global revolution like that for real!!!

The reason they call it the American dream is because you have to be asleep to believe it

Has anyone read Of Mice and Men? I started it today... and finished it. Shortest book I've ever read in my life. I wasn't too crazy over the ending.

Yea of Mice and Men was a good book, I read it freshmen year. I liked the ending, I never though it would end that way.

**SPOILER**

I knew that Lennie was eventually going to die, and I admit I was surprised at how, but it's not really the kind of book I liked. It was way too short too, I finished it in a few hours.

It was short but I think that is a good thing. I don't think I would have read a long version of that.

I didn't know you liked Greek mythology. This is true I am a book worm as well. Yea I don't have much of a life other then you, books, school (sometimes), and computers. The written word is a fantastic thing. It can paint the most vivid pictures in your mind and arouse all your senses. It is just wonderful.

If anyone has the time, they should explain to you everything that was wrong with that sentance.

...But anyway. I'm almost finished Dragonlance, I'm on page 1025 currently.
