What was your favourite game to movie adaption, and whats your least fav...I was just thinking back on how many there are now and some are just so crap

Max Payne, The Hitman and Postal were god awful crap...

however,

Resident Evil, Silent Hill and Doom were fairly alright..

I didn't think that Hitman was so bad, it's ok for me.
Tho I love Max Payne (game), I still didn't watch the movie, it seems that they took some internal conflicts of the character and translated to real demons and stuff, at least it's what it seems on the official trailer, I thought it was weird.

I would have to say Super Mario and Resident Evil. There is that other movie that is an animation movie that kinda looks like Final Fantasy but I forgot the name.

Silent Hill was hilarious, my then-girlfriend and I laughed all through that movie. Doom looked awful, Resident Evil did an alright job.

Truth is, I have yet to see a game-to-movie that was actually badass. Like I'm talking, what Dark Knight was to comic books, I'm still waiting for the movie that does a game that kind of justice.

Uwe Boll certainly isn't helping the demographic.

and I'd just like to say, I'm still waiting for a real Mega Man movie. If they could get somebody to do it right, I will cum.

Also, Halo looks like it has potential, but will probably fuck it up...I'm just saying....

I'd say my favorite Game-movie to date is between Tron or Resident Evil...err...Nemesis? The second one.

Resident evil series - Failed. you cannot bring me the atmospher i had back in 1996 when i sat their bug eyed at 4 in the morning with my mates stonned shitting ourself at what the hell was going on, i mean in the film Nemesis is good?! WHAT THE FUCK?!!!!!!! where my big mutant freak chasing me with that same 32 bit music peice!

Mario brother's - What they were smoking when they filmed this? find me some?!

Tomb raider - Do i really need to go there?

Max payne - hmmm, they stayed nice and close to the game plot for that i do have to thank them. they did make a good go out of the film idea but it still doesnt have the feel of the game, which i played first.

Hitman - timothy olphant? ermm okay i can deal with this he was cool in Die Hard 4.0, Timothy olphant has a heart and falls in love with a girl whos hot. ermm okay bit cliche but i can deal with this so long as it's action packed. he pushes her off mind sex. Okay this is just unreal now bullshit bad film....

In all honesty the only film thats caught true essense of the video game format is Silent hill. that film knew the score, dark as fuck and in HD truly beautiful also the pyramid heads WHAAAAAAT major gripping

I'm not sure if I have a favorite game-to-movie. Hitman was awful in my opinion, seeing as they turned a game from having a good story to a movie with a story about a killer with a love interest.

Hitman was just okay in my opinion...it wasn't bad, but being a fan of the franchise since the first game, I completely disagreed with the casting. I still do.

That's my one big issue with the movie......that and I thought the game was so much fun, they shouldnt've tried to make a movie out of it in the first place, but that's just me.

The best game to movie movies I've seen are the Resident Evil movies and Hitman. Altho by far the greatest one I've seen out of any of them would be the Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children movie. That movie brought back so many memories of FFVII that i nearly orgasmd the first time i saw it.
